Shane found it hard to open his mouth to say the words Yasmin wished to hear.
"Let's not talk about Skai now."
"But you cannot run from it, Shane. She's your sister."
Yasmin noticed the change in his mood. Whatever had gone wrong with them, she believed she could get to the bottom of things and if not for anyone, for Skai.
She blinked, her mind returning from her lost thought when Shane moved and kissed her.
Shocked by the sudden gesture, Yasmin blinked, her eyes widened but with Shane sucking in her bottom lip, begging for entrance she let herself go and kiss him back.
As soon as he broke the kiss to let them catch their breath, Yasmin shook her head
"Don't change the topic, Shane. You need to…" To Yasmin's surprise, he stood up, brushed his hands in his trousers and looked away.
"I guess it is time I took my leave."
