Jared lay with Damien atop him, glaring, growling and gripping his collar tightly.
"Why?!"
Damien's eyes burned with rage.
Even though he was confused about something, he couldn't shake the fact that Skai was gone.
"You should have been there. Is this the love you proclaimed? Huh, Jared?!"

"And what of you?" Jared choked out before the next punch came.
"Me?"
Damien's eyes brightened, his powers seeping out and surrounding his fist as he got ready to send another brain-destroying punch but just as he threw it downwards towards Jared's face, the latter held Damien's fist, blocking the attack.
"You are nothing but all talk. A mistake in her life. How dare you let her die? Didn't you know she wasn't safe?" He roared on Jared's face.
"I was right. Keeping her in my mansion and masking her presence was the best but you…!"
