CHAPTER 158
Skai pushed herself up on her elbows, her body screaming to run, but there was nowhere to go.
"Please, don't do this." Skai's voice broke. "I'll give you anything you want, just don't hurt me."
Kairav's grip tightened on the dagger, his knuckles white. 'I'm sorry, Skai but… This is something that must be done,' he voiced internally.
Sidestepping her, he grabbed her by the arm and twisted it painfully behind her back as he brought the dagger closer.
"Arrrrgggghhh!!!" Skai yelled in pain, her body contorting to try and alleviate the pressure.
The dagger pressed against her chest as its cold steel bit into her skin.
Skai's struggles grew weaker. Fear and pain overwhelmed her and there was no place to run. No place to hide. Tears streamed down her face as she realized there was no escape.
