CHAPTER 156
Two days rolled by quickly and all Skai had to go on was her message from Jared. Or so she thought.
She blinked, her fingers halting on her keyboards as her mind tried recalling something.
After several seconds, nothing seemed forthcoming and the frustration began to eat her up.
"I am sure I got a text from Jared or was I dreaming?" Skai shook her head.
'Hallucinating maybe?'
She scratched the back of her neck. Had she missed Jared so much that her mind conjured such thoughts about him?
Unable to piece any clue together, Skai huffed and leaned back against her chair. The whole thought was beginning to give her a headache.
After some time she dialled Jared's number but like other times she had tried in the last 2 days, it was the same thing.
Silence.
Just then Davion knocked on her office door, taking her attention away from her current problem.
"Please come in."
