I leap off the platform breaking through the invisible barrier keeping me with the gods. When I reach my body I leap up and strike the warlock away as he was about to kill my friends.
"What the hell? How are you back, I sent you to meet the gods, you can't come back after to get there. Just what are you anyways?" The warlock shouts as he lands on his feet again.
I stand completely still before summoning the master blade. "Y'know before you separated my soul. I asked myself that question daily." I close my eyes while speaking "But now that I've met the gods, I can tell you who I am. I am Den Himmelska. The Heavenly, and I'm the child of every god."
As I snap my eyes open my blade shatters it's outer layer revealing that it is created from pieces of every element. "And you, are dead"
I Blitz towards the enemy getting within slashing distance before he turns to smoke once more. Luckily I had know he was going to do this so I had begin using my Wind synergy to blow the specs of dust away from me.
I turned and ran back to my friends quickly checking if they were alright and promising I'd explain everything once we got out of there alive.
Immediately when I turned around I was greater with the mage in my face, luckily I was able to move fast enough to avoid his blow. I was unsure how I managed to escape the home of the gods once, if I got sent there twice, I don't think I'd escape.
The warlock finally decided to stop his games and rushed me head on. I was to slow to dodge it so instead I raised my blade and blocked his strike. He had gotten faster, and stronger too. He's boosting his own power, his magic isn't helping him fight so he's using in to boost his physical capabilities. Of course, how was I so dumb to think this was going to be easy.
I finally broke contact and tried to get away but kept being caught by the mage. I knew I couldn't rely on the blade alone, even with it being awakened I was still unsure of how to properly use it. If I had a bit more training then I could win, however currently, there was no chance for victory.
I kept fighting till I felt I was about to puke from exhaustion, both me and the warlock landing minimal blows throughout the fight. Eventually we got to another stand off, however this one was different.
By this time Zane and Michael had recovered, they stayed out of the fight for this time, knowing they were far too weak to compete with the buffed mage. However while standing the the sword lock I noticed that the mage left an opening on the other side of his blade, if I had a Ranged weapon I could.
"Zane!" I say answering my question
Zane looks at me confused meeting my gaze and nodding in understanding. After breaking contact one last time to close distance between me and Zane I prepared to make my final stand in one more lock.
As we engaged in combat Zane threw his revolver into my hands as I laid it across my sword and blew a hole through the warlocks chest. To be thorough I sliced him into pieces and right before our eyes the dome around us began to fall and the ecosystem went back to normal. I walked over to Zane and Michael and hugged them till we were found.
"See this is the entire story, this is how I because know as Earth's greatest fighter. And this is the story of how me and my friends survived the Dome Events over 2 years ago" I tell Lindsey Jacob, a news reporter who interviewed me about my case.
