Vehicles on fire, paves and streets torn up, signs and stop lights bent or missing. Buildings mission parts or whole floors, rubble filled as the winds howled a symphony during there clashes.
If the battle between Byakko and Gilotina were to be described in few words it would be a deadly slug feast, one mistake could cost you victory and potential your life.
As Gilotina swing down trying to bisect Byakko who evades and counters with a left hook infused with slaughter Qi that too fast for Gilotina to dodge and she's catapulted though the buildings behind her, but Byakko gives her no reprieve and infuses Qi into his muscles and multitasked between using Slaughter Fist and Tiger stalks together to form a dangerous combo and changes after Gilotina, who barely manages to dodge his follow up drop kick and counter with a horizontal swing. Byakko evades and transition into a spinning kick that Gilotina manages to block but was stunned by the impact and couldn't block the closeline that came after or spine buster that followed. Byakko back flipped to gain some distance and some time to change a technique to finish their fight. Gilotina got up armor tornado, scratches and bruises litter her body as blood tricked down her chin from her lips.
"Your stronger and more skilled than most new gods." she said while spitting blood on the street. The she gazed at Byakko and ready her sword which glowing with an ominous energy. "But you lack the killer instinct." She slashed out her swing and send a shar wave that lacerated the street while moving towards Byakko splitting the air as it did so. Once again demonstrating her ability to cut anything.
Byakko dodged and charge at her with growl and she met his charge in kind with a bloody smile. Fist met then sword swung, Byakko weave out the way and kick out a horizontal wind blade. Gilotina slashes it an a jumps up clearing all building and slashes out multiple times creating a net of sword energy that if it hit would reduce Byakko to cubes. "Tch" Byakko pumped more Qi into his legs pushing tiger stalks to the max while maintaining his slaughter Qi coated fists and runs up the building behind him and creates a 2 meter wind barrier around him. As he reaches the top of the building he jumps off and kicks the air clearing most of the attacks range and before the remainder of the attack could hit he creates a platform of wind crouches and jumps out the ways as the attack misses him and hits the streets creating a park size checkers board. While kicking the air in place Byakko looks at the area affects and then looks back a Gilotina who's not there. The fur on his neck raises and Byakko stops kicking and drops barely escaping her follow up horizontal slash. She gives no reprieve and sends a energy slash down after him. Byakko kicks the area and dodges before landing on another building with Gilotina landing on an adjacent building.
Byakko and Gilotina lock gazes "You are a worthy opponent Byakko, must of my foes are long dead by this point." "But you lack the edge,you lack the will to take my life and that will he your downfall".Gilotina got in to a stance and the shine in her sword grew brighter." But it's time to end this, you like the rest will be culled and this planet like the rest will fall to his rule".
Byakko got into a stance of his own legs apart one Infront of the other, left hand forward and right hand balled and tuck by his was both fist glowing bright red with hints of gold and he focused . Gilotina was right he was subconsciously stopping himself from ending this fight the quick way with her permanent end. He was locking for a way to knock her unconscious but that opens another bag of worms. Earth had no current prison or facility to contain her. She would just escape and the deaths that follows and blood spilled in her wake would be in his hands. His Yokai instincts we constantly fight him for control and he'd always push them down only letting them lead him with evasion and counters. But maybe just maybe he can be cliche and work with his more beastial side a symbiosis if you will. A faint golden glow appeared between his eyebrows as he release es the hold on his instincts. His golden pupils glowed more intensely and savage smirk made its way to his visage. His tail swished and his Qi formed a thin golden cloak over his skin. He look a Gilotina but his gaze had changed. She was no longer an opponent she was prey.
"Are finally coming at me with the intent to kill Byakko" Gilotina noticing he change asked, but relieved no response. And then he was right Infront of her. Before she could swing her sword a shock wave form his first propelled her off the building, then a another from below sent her upwards, them another from above push he into it, then another form behind and another form Infront kept her in place. A trap made of pressurized wind she couldn't move.
And then she heard it and looked Infront and say Byakko crouched in a wind platform in the air and huge white tiger made of energy surrounded him before being absorb into his right fist. As she gazed into those slitted pupils she saw only indifferent no joy or sorrow to her opponent this was not personal buy necessary. Then she heard would probably be her end
~HUNT AND DEVOUR HIRUDORA ~
Byakko punched and the biggest attack he'd ever used followed. A giant white tiger with a golden glow headed towards Gilotina and hit her . He sword for the first time left her grasp. Blood left her ears, nose and eyes as slashes appeared all over her body. If the pressure didn't or the chaotic winds didn't kill her what come next will. As Byakko was about to will the attack to detonate a giant boom tube open behind Gilotina and drew her and the attack in . Most likely a fail safe Incase a fury was about to perish not that it mattered as he felt a burst of pressure exist the boom tube before it closed. Wether she was alive or not the fight was over he had one. But there was still Darksied to deal with. He just had to figure out how to get to metropolis or more specifically which direction it was in. Just then two fighter jets flew above him in a particular direction at sonic speeds, they could be heading to a city with Parademons. But he doesn't remember any city being bombed in the movie. However two fighter jet were eviscerated by Darksied's omega beems upon his arrival. Finishing up with that quick analysis he kick the air and chased after them . The air was his element as long as they're in range he won't loose them and the journey there would allow his to time needed to recharge his Qi for the final battle. Hopefully they'll be no further deviations form the plot.
