The boss girl then prostrated herself before me, smashing her head against the floor shouting, "Please let me serve you!"
That sudden turn of events was so shocking that I heard a large plate full of food clatter to the floor. I knew exactly who did that, but was too stunned to react, and I didn't honestly care about it anyways.
But this? Having this girl suddenly submit to me as she did, was not something I was expecting to see or encounter.
Why exactly is she doing this?
"B-Boss?" One of her cronies muttered in shock. "Wh-What are you doing?"
The prostrated girl ignored everyone else and looked up at me with dreamy eyes and a silly smile that bordered on obsessive.
"Please! Let me serve you!" She kept on begging to serve me, whatever that meant.
"…" I looked down at her with some contempt and let go of the woman that I was holding onto to her relief.
