Chapter 91 - Chapter 91: The Arrival of the Tyrant Slayer

Raknor stood amidst the swirling tempest of daggers, his eyes narrowing as the 10,000 flying blades closed in on him with deadly precision. He swung his massive battle axe, generating a wave of energy that created a barrier around him. Each dagger that struck the barrier shattered into pieces, but the sheer number of them pressed on, relentlessly closing the distance.

"You think a storm of daggers can take me down?" Raknor growled, his voice resonating like a distant thunderstorm. With a mighty roar, he planted his feet firmly on the ground, channeling energy into his axe. A dome of red energy erupted from him, deflecting a large portion of the daggers, but the storm continued.

Dave observed the struggle, his mind calculating. 'If he can repel most of the daggers, then I need something more.' His eyes flashed with determination as he tapped into his Matter Control ability, manipulating the ground beneath Raknor. The earth quaked violently, shifting and bending to Dave's will, wrapping around Raknor's legs and immobilizing him.

Raknor's eyes widened in shock as the earth itself betrayed him, hardening around his feet and binding his movements. "What is this?!" he bellowed, swinging his axe to shatter the rock, but more kept reforming, binding him further.

Dave smirked from a distance. 'Let's see how you defend when you can't move.' He focused harder, tightening the hold of the earth while sending more of the daggers at Raknor. Each blade whizzed through the air with the force of a hurricane, aiming directly at the trapped warrior. The cracks in Raknor's barrier widened as the relentless daggers began to break through.

The sky darkened with the energy of their battle, and the distant horizon trembled. Fighters across the trail stopped in their tracks, feeling the intense surge of power coming from Dave's location. Murmurs spread like wildfire through the battlefield.

"Who's fighting over there?" one man whispered, his voice filled with awe.

"I can feel their auras even from here," another said, beads of sweat forming on his brow. "Those two… they must be monsters."

Far away, sitting atop a mound of bodies, the mysterious man observed the sky darkening. His lips curved into a faint smile. "Interesting… It seems someone strong enough to challenge me has finally appeared." He rose slowly, his eyes gleaming with excitement. Bodies lay scattered around him, each one a testament to his dominance. "Let's see if this one can survive."

With that, the mysterious fighter began to move, each step deliberate as he made his way toward the source of the overwhelming power.

Meanwhile, back at the battlefield, Raknor's barrier was failing. The daggers had finally pierced through, slashing at his armor and drawing blood. Raknor grunted in pain, swinging his axe wildly in a desperate attempt to hold them off.

"Damn you, Dave!" he shouted, his voice hoarse from exertion. "I will not be defeated like this!"

But Dave wasn't done. He teleported above Raknor, his daggers gleaming in the fading light. With a swift motion, he aimed both weapons downward, plunging them toward Raknor's exposed back. The ground shook as Dave's blades made contact, the sheer force of the impact sending a shockwave across the battlefield.

Raknor screamed in agony, his defenses crumbling under the relentless onslaught. Blood poured from his wounds as the earth continued to hold him in place. The 10,000 daggers struck one after another, tearing through his body until the once mighty Tyrant of Destruction fell to his knees.

Dave stood above him, panting heavily. His aura still crackled with power, but fatigue had begun to set in. He tightened his grip on his daggers and took a deep breath, ready to deliver the final blow.

With one swift motion, Dave plunged his blades into Raknor's chest, ending the fight.

Raknor's eyes glazed over, the life draining from him as his body slumped forward. His once unshakable confidence shattered in his final moments.

"You fought well," Dave muttered, pulling his daggers free from the lifeless body. He took a step back, wiping the blood off his weapons, his eyes scanning the horizon. The intense energy that had surrounded them slowly faded, leaving an eerie calm in its wake.

Just as Dave began to relax, a slow, deliberate clapping echoed through the now-silent battlefield.

"Impressive," came a cold, smooth voice.

Dave turned to see the mysterious man walking toward him, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "I never thought I'd witness someone take down Raknor, let alone with such style." The man stopped a few feet away, his smile growing. "But now the real challenge begins."

Dave's heart raced, but he steadied himself, sensing an immense power coming from this new adversary. His body was still fatigued from the battle, but his instincts warned him—this man was no ordinary fighter.
