"Did you just say "Da Na"?"
Da Hye's bright expression swiftly turned dark and rather flustered. Lee Min Hwa shifted on the bench and looked at her once again with eyes full of sadness and regret.
"Yes... You're not her daughter? You resemble Kang Seon Bin a lot, she used to cry so much because of that, but you grew up to be so beautiful."
The situation had become even more confusing than before, however, what bothered Ah Yeon more was how drastically Da Hye changed upon hearing that single name that seemed to have been the source of that change.
"Kang Da Na? Your mother?"
Ah Yeon looked at her friend who turned as white as a sheet and was simply standing there motionlessly like a statue. Lee Min Hwa turned around to face Ah Yeon and continued,
"Kang Da Na was my best friend from college. She had a daughter named Da Hye. Last time I saw you, you were turning five --"
"What happened to her?"
