"Se Ah! Great timing! I was just about to call you."
"You were? Why?"
As if ignoring Se Ah's question, Da Hye shouted something in Mandarin which was followed by a man's voice shouting something back at her, but more affectionately. Despite her unnaturally humble claims that her Mandarin is on the intermediate level at best, whenever Da Hye was speaking it, to Se Ah, she sounded as natural as a native speaker.
"Yeah, sorry about that. Listen, I am going to Guangzhou with Zhou Shen for about a month or so can you keep an eye on my stuff until then?"
Da Hye was talking so fast, Se Ah could not understand whether she was still speaking Mandarin or had already switched to Korean.
"Slow down, Kang Da Hye, what are you talking about? And who is Zhou Shen?"
"Oh! Now I feel kinda guilty..."
The unexpectedly long silence on the other end of the line made Se Ah rather anxious but then Da Hye sighed and continued,
