She had to admit, she had been a bit overconfident before. Having faced many uphill battles, suddenly fighting in such a one-sided match undoubtedly skewed her perspective. She became careless, no longer as cautious and strategic as before, instead putting too much faith in sheer firepower and underestimating her opponent.
How could the old Dorothy have given Alice a chance to backstab her? She would never stop firing until she had turned the entire Arena into dust. But just moments ago, she had tried to pull off a cool walk-away-from-the-explosion trick without looking back, almost getting herself killed in the process.
