She slipped out of the gown and they put her into her gown. It was a backless gown, with long beads covering some part of her back. it was also off shoulder, that is very fitted around her waist, and free from her waist downwards bringing out her shape. It was a very long beautiful gown. She put on her gloves and wore a pair of silver heels. she sat down on a chair and they styled her hair into a rose braided buns. They left two portions of her hair at the front and they dropped it down her face.
They also put on a silver beaded chain on her neck.
"It's from the groom one of the maid said. she just smiled at her.
She stood up and looked at herself one again in the mirror. And she knew she was very pretty. She blinked her beautifully long eyelashes at the mirror and she was led back outside.
When they got outside, she saw her father delivering a speech like he planned it his whole life.
They led her to the back where a chair has been prepared for her, she sat on it and the Maid adjusted her gown as she sat. They took a last look at her and they left.
She just sat there looking really hopeless.she really had no friends who will walk in there to cheer her up or take pictures with her.
"We will now welcome the bride," her father said as everyone clapped and the curtains were lifted and all eyes fell on Lilith. she tried her very best to smile as people looked at her.
Her father walked over to her and stretched out his hands for her to take. She knew her father was putting on a show because he had no choice. Her and her father walked up to the stage where she stood and a pastor was standing already. Then her mind spaced out thinking of her groom. The fact that he is not around yet, shocks her, maybe he also didn't like the wedding as she didn't,she thought to herself.
Then suddenly, everywhere was silent, all Lilith could here was the tapping sound of a shoe as it hit the ground indicating someone was coming. He was wearing a white long sleeve shirt, with a brown inner vest and a brown suit with a brown trousers and they were all Neatly ironed. His shoes were black and Lilith could tell that he was a neat person. Her jaws dropped when she saw the man walking closer to her. like he walked straight out of a novel.
He had this perfectly sculpted face resembling that of an actor. A sharp beautiful jawline threatening to pierce anything that touches it. His long lashes that drooped down his cheek bone each time he blinks. His crystal clear hazel eyes impossible to look away from. And his pointed nose looking so beautiful, and his long hair that flaps as he walks.
As he got closer to her, she felt this cold energy that he gives off that sent shivers down her spine. He stood in front of her and she snapped out of her daydream.
"Wait a minute he is my husband," she said to herself still looking at his eyes.
