" Ice Time Capsule!" Kuzan raised his hand towards Terris and fired out a wave of ice that traveled along the ground, towards the man.
' That's bad.' Terris remarked. He jumped back from the ice trail. " Rock Wall!" Terris waved his hand and the earth below his feet, jutted upwards and blocked the ice attack, stopping it from getting close to Terris.
* BOSH!
Kuzan jumped high above the wall of rock and stuck out his right arm. " Ice block: Partisan!" Kuzan created four giant spears out of thin air that was made of ice and shot all four of them right at Terris.
Terris' arm turned into a large rock, and he fired it at the blades of ice. Teo of the blades of ice broke apart on contact, but the other two managed to pierce through, where the others failed.
" Damn." Terris cursed. He got ready to dodge out of the way, but the moment he tried he felt his legs barely budge. " Huh?" Terris looked down at his legs and noticed that one of them had been frozen. ' When did this happen? I didn't see him throw any other attack.' Terris muttered. He looked down at the pathway that connected his leg to the ground and followed it to its source.

' My Rock wall? It's completely frozen?! You mean.... That first attack?!' Terris narrowed his eyes. ' This guy is dangerous.' He smashed his leg free and jumped out of the way of Kuzan's surprise attack.
The ice spears jabbed into the ground and ice spread out from around the space that they occupied.
Terris landed on his feet, away from the ice, and started breathing heavily. The cold chill of the ice on his legs, was froze him nearly to his bones.
" Ah man. You weren't supposed to dodge that." Kuzan said to the man.
" You're pretty scary, you know that? Tricking me into thinking my wall stopped your attack, and then drawing my attention with that second attack. That was pretty impressive. And that ice is no joke. I couldn't even feel it creeping up my leg." Terris spoke. " I can tell, you aren't gonna just let me walk away, are you?"
" Ahhhh! Can't do that now. If I did it would bring shame to the Marines. I don't think I want the higher ups on my back for letting you go."
[ Giant stronghold takeoff]
" I figured." Terris stated. " Let's take this up a notch." He lifted his fist up and turned it all into rock. That rock started to spin. It span so fast that it eventually turned into a giant fist of spinning magma.
" Whoa! Whoa! I know a guy who can do that too. Ice Block!" Kuzan raised his hand up and pointed all five of his extremely long fingers at Terris " Ice Block!"
" Magma Fist!"
" Pheasant Beak!"
Terris thrusted his fist forward, and a giant fist made entirely of magma erupted from his arm, while Kuzan launched a giant bird made entirely of ice at Terris.
The bird and the fist hit each other resulting in a collision that was seen on the other side of the island.
" Huh? Ice?! Kuzan is here?" Dalmatian murmured.
" Who is that?" Norin asked the man.
" A man who was chosen as a potential candidate for the position of Admiral. One of the prodigies of the next generation, Vice Admiral Kuzan." Dalmatian explained to the girl.
" Another vice admiral?" Long horn muttered.
" Captain!"
" What is it?" Long horn shouted.
" Another Marine ship just landed near the docks. Our forces... They're getting overrun, sir. What do we do?!"
Long Horn looked towards the giant pillar of Ice and Magma in the distance. " Terris, you better not lose."
Terris and Kuzan's attacks continued colliding together, until finally they had both been completely evaporated by the other, canceling out both attacks at the same time.
Bits of Ice and Magma floated about in the air as the two men stared each other down.
" Hey! Hey! It looks this is going to be more of a pain than I thought." Kuzan stated. His tone was playful, like it didn't really matter at all.
Terris took note of this. He hadn't held back in that last attack. Not one bit, and yet his attack was stopped, countered even. This was a problem to the man. Even if he believed he could win, there were still others on the island to watch out for.
" Hmph! No point in wasting time worrying now. Do your worst!" Terris exclaimed.
Terris and Kuzan charged one another.
The very force of the earth and the chill of ice clashed against one another.
Back and forth they went, throwing Ice and molten rock at one another. The intensity of their fight was growing so strong, that the very terrain around them was starting to change. Trees were frozen over, and pools of lava and craters of missing earth covered the plains.
' Damn. This guy is getting pretty wild.' Kuzan noted. ' He's fighting without a care of anything around him. Markus is still nearby; I can't let the fight get near him.'
' I played around too much, and now I'm on the defensive.' Terris could feel it, this wasn't a battle he was going to win conventionally. So, he started moving the battle back towards where the others had collapsed.
However, Kuzan wasn't about to let that happen so easily.
" Ice Wall!"
A giant wall of erected completely out of ice jutted up from the ground in front of Terris, who was forced to stop.
When he turned around, Kuzan was already on the attack again. " Ice Ball!"
" Rock Tomb!" Terris summoned a giant golem to protect him from the freezing ice heading straight towards him. Once the attack was finished, Terris shattered his golem and launched the pieces of it right back at Kuzan. " Giga Crush!" With a shout, all of those rocks and more started racing towards Kuzan.
Though with his body made of ice, he was easily able to avoid them all.
" Heh!" Terris smirked as Kuzan reformed. In fact, this is what he was aiming for. With Kuzan having dodged all of his attacks, Terris had set him up perfectly.
Using his control over all things made of the earth, Terris rotated and spun the rocky material so fast that they all turned into spinning balls of magma. " Magma Mortar!" Giant balls of molten rock rained down upon Kuzan and the battlefield, smashing to pieces to the wall of ice, and melting the ice covering the forest.
" Damn. That's clever." Kuzan cursed. He dodged out of the way of the falling lava rocks, much to Terris' dismay. But he did give Terris an opening, that he was waiting for.
Terris, slammed his foot on the ground and turned a large portion of the area around him into a giant pit of molten rock and lava. Terris then jumped into the air and with a swing of his staff, he smacked Kuzan hard, shattering his entire body into tiny shards of ice.
Hundreds of small ice shards fell and hit the lava on the ground below. The instant they hit the ground, the lava and rock immediately froze and created a hard surface for Kuzan to reform himself on.
Once he was back to his feet, Kuzan placed his hand on the ground and flash froze the entire area around him, effectively turning all the molten rock and lava into ice.
Terris looked at the frozen magma pit and one thing came to his mind immediately. For the first time since this battle started, Terris doubted himself.
For the first time, Terris thought he may just actually lose this fight.
Kuzan stood up and the ice covering his body quickly dissipated, and a single drop of blood trickled down from his mouth. " Hey, not bad. But.... You ain't gonna like how this is gonna turn out. Why don't you go ahead and give yourself up now, and we'll at least make sure you get brought in alive. You may even just get thrown into impel down. That sounds a lot better than dyin." Kuzan said to the man.
" Yeah, if your life is all that matters. Some would argue that dying is better than going to prison." Terris replied.
" How would you figure?"
" If you die, then at least you can die on your own terms, pursuing your dreams to the very end. Being left to rot in jail, however, is the ultimate disrespect. There your dreams don't matter." Terris explained." So, no. I won't be surrendering. I have a dream to achieve.
" Yeah? Well, to have a dream, you gotta have a future. You don't." Kuzan told the man boldly. Kuzan's signature smile disappeared and the air around him and Terris suddenly turned ice cold. Colder than it already had been.
" Ice Age!!!"
*DOOM!
