After traversing the alley's full length, at the far end, the familiar sight of the rundown hut came into view.
Cyril approached the rickety door, gave it a gentle push, and was instantly greeted by a chorus of surprised voices. He saw the familiar boy jumping up in a defensive manner.
"I'm back!" He announced, a broad grin on his face. His voice, recognizable to the siblings, resonated within the confined space of the hut. One of them rushed toward him eagerly.
