Naturally, without any funds to sustain himself in Southeast Stronghold, Cyril had to find a way to survive; he couldn't rely on the kindness of Lord Wayward indefinitely. Therefore, he decided to work for Lord Wayward, who turned out to be a skilled metalworker, also known as a blacksmith in some parts of the world.

Despite Lord Wayward's noble and elegant appearance, he wasn't one to delegate all his work to others. He usually instructed his workers to handle the melting, molding, and quenching of metals, while he took care of the final steps, such as the rune engraving that transformed normal weapons and accessories into artifacts.

Some ignorant individuals always assume that the runes engraved on weapons and accessories are simply an aesthetic design added by metalworkers or blacksmiths as a form of embellishment to attract customers who like fancy-looking items.
