As the shrouded figures approached, they circled around Cyril who remained by the carriage with the horses. One of the figures approached the horses and proceeded to cut them loose, causing the frightened horses to run away instinctively, sensing the threat from the figures.
Despite being domesticated, the horses had a strong survival instinct, having witnessed the death of their owner, the old coachman. However, their attempt to escape was short-lived as they too were ensnared by the crimson chains, immobilizing them completely.
Meanwhile, Cyril stood his ground, covered in a shell resembling bloody steel, his face reflecting his determination. Before him, stood the lanky and thin leopard man, the two unveiled shrouded figures, a tall and stout bear man, and a muscular bull man.
