12th day, Month of Nox, 777th Year of the Dragon
On our way to the Land of Vetiti
Ten years ago, I was blessed to see a vision of the greatest evil in our time perish before my very eyes. Yesterday, I marched forth with the Supreme's Anointed King to defeat that evil and win what seemed to be an endless war. At last, our long-awaited victory was ours and the fulfillment of the vision had come to pass. Tomorrow, and the days after tomorrow, we shall all live in true peace governed by the Supreme's Chosen and his beloved queen. Truly, what a joyous day it is! There was nothing more I could wish for. But then, all my joy faded when I saw yet another vision.
It was on our way back to the heart of Gaia while celebrating and being merry with each other that I saw the terrible omen. Our beloved home—our beloved planet, dying before me. The once proud and majestic Gaia was reduced to mere ashes… until it was no more.
It started with the ground crumbling and refusing to produce its yield. Then the seas began to be in constant turmoil. The volcanoes rampaged one after another, and the wind sent its harshest blow from the east unto the west. Great darkness covered our planet until it was consumed fully, along with every living being in it. Alas, it slowly turned into dust.
Never have I written a journal in my life. Not when we began the long and tiring journey of bringing an end to Gaia's eternal war. Not when the Most High appointed me as His eyes and gifted a weak person such as me with holy powers to aid his Anointed King. Not even when we finally won and brought peace to our homes. But today, after everything I had witnessed, I felt the dire need to write it down, for I needed to make sure that this message would be delivered to those of you who live in the far future. Yes, a very far away future.
And so with great burden do I share this news unto you. For the vision—the Great Omen of what was to come—was not something that ought to happen anytime soon. Its appointed time might be hundreds of years from now, or even more. Only the Supreme knows for sure.
Yet to you that belong to the future, and to all of you who would live to experience the pain and sorrow of this horrifying tragedy, I beseech you, do not lose hope. For our Supreme is faithful and just. He would never leave us nor forsake us. And I believe with all of my heart and soul that just as He allowed me to witness such terror, by His might and power and love for us all, He would send help and deliver us from this cosmic blight that threatens our world.
In this hope, I shall continue to pray without ceasing for our salvation to come. May you all pray with me also and remain to be faithful. Let the Supreme's light guide us all.
