"Prepare the helicopters, we are going to end that terrorist group in one shot!" Roff heaved out a breath. He was well dressed in black protective outfit and his people were dressed in black, too.
His all-in-one assistant giggled unnecessarily and pretended to clear his throat as he got a glare back from Roff.
"Everyone, gather around!" he screamed as loud as possible from his throat. His girlish and low voice still couldn't get through but Todd has things already prepared. He took a megaphone in his left hand and screamed again, this time attacking their eardrums, "Listen carefully, we have to end the terrorist's life line who dared to touch master Gordon".
"Yessss!" in return he got a synchronised scream from the hundreds of trained guards lined up in front of him.
….
An hour later, they reached the place they tracked thanks to Roff grandpa who was wearing a watch that could be traced easily. The watch looked pretty old so no one cared about it but now through its help, they have reached the main area where the terrorist group has their base created from way long.
It was because of the government negligence that the border has been occupied by them.
As soon as they reached, they met with resistance against those terrorist group.
Later when the prisoners came screaming for help, the situation turned against the troop who was there to look for their old master.
The terrorist group launched their choppers above to fight head on head. Because of that those prisoners became the first target of those terrorist who were already with a thought of killing everyone.
"Should we kill them?" Todd asked, he was staring at the screen from inside the helicopter and felt confused while seeing the prisoners.
Roff who was on the driver seat and busy fighting creased his eyebrows. Because of the constant bombarding, the noise kept them from hearing those prisoners loud plead.
But they were unequipped with any weapons so he decided to let them leave but the opponent side helicopter shot all of them dead.
"Shit!" Roff snickered and aimed next at those warships, "Shoot at 85 degree and then at 180-degree angle," he ordered his subordinates to fire since the opponent warship has surrounded them.
It was now mostly the fight of intelligence and technology. The better the technology, the more chances of win.
…
"Leigh, are you ok?" she shouted out her lungs. Taking her shirt off, she tore it into two pieces and at first tied the old man wound and then Leigh's.
No one was attacking at the roof anymore but the troublesome fact was that they were now surrounded by fire that was caused by constant bombarding.
Leigh opened her eyes in pain and swallowed, "That…" she heaved a heated breath, suffering from immense pain, "I don't think… I can't ho-hold on anymore." Taking deep breathes she uttered painfully.
But the breath she tries to steal for her life was mixed with fumes caused by the fire, that led her to cough and in result more blood started to leak out of her wound.
"Calm down, we still have a chance. We can still survive," Tia gave some positive words but was of no help since Leigh already knew that she wasn't going to long last.
"You were… re-really like my… my sister".
Tia nodded at her words and looked around, due to the smoke, she couldn't even see what was going on in the sky, her eyes were full of tears.
"Yes, I know. Please hold on a little more," she kept Leigh head on her lap and bit her lips feeling hopeless.
'What should I do know? What should I do???' her mind stopped working and all she could think of was nothing.
"Please, my grandmother will be really alone," Leigh took another deep breath and coughed loudly, the smoky air was too much for her to breath and live in.
Still, she tried to complete her words before she leaves the word, "Please… if you… if you survive," Tia serious eyes concentrated on her and she nodded to hear more and moved her ears closer while tears kept rolling down her cheeks.
Leigh voice turned low and her eyes started to lose its life, "Live… as… me".
That was her last word and her fingers that was struggling while holding Tia's t-shirt fell down on the ground.
Tia knew that now nothing was possible but it was still the truth that she truly wanted this girl to live.
"No, please don't die!" she screamed while crying pitifully, she pressed her head over the girl's chest and started to mutter, "At least no one was waiting for me outside this hell, I should have been the one to die! Why you?" she sobbed.
Taking her head back from the girl chest she looked helpless and lonely, "it's all my fault!" she stared at the sky with her teary eyes.
Though she never excepted it but her stay with this girl for past six month made her feel loved. Leigh constant nagging, her caring words and eyes that held no hostility neither grudge… for the first time she in her life felt loved but what remained now was pain.
Even if she survives, she will feel hurt and guilty for the rest of her life.
The snow started to fall under the dark cloud and the first snow of the winter fell on Leigh's nose.
Suddenly a huge wind carried away the smoke. It was caused by the helicopter which stood just above the roof.
Tia stared a man coming down with the help of rope. Her eyes were lifeless, she felt more painful since now it appeared that someone will rescue her but the man whose face she could barely see shot directly at her left shoulder.
"Ah… it's better to die instantly than set on fire. I guess God still loves me, he decreased the pain!" Tia smiled and waited for another bullet to hit her.
