"Mom, she is back". Slow pace voice reached a woman who was sitting in front of the great buddha, holding beads of purity in her hand and praying diligently.
Hearing those words, the woman opened her calm eyes and bowed once on the ground before peacefully walking out of the big hall where the buddha rested.
Followed by her eldest daughter, she finally turned back. Her eyes of bead shaped and arrogance filling her face. Wearing white one-piece that covered her tall figure, she looked ignorantly at her daughter, "Its good that she is back but I feel awful seeing you neglecting your work over such a little thing".
The lady in her late forties harrumphed as she spoke gracefully.
Mrs. Iam Filin was a peace-loving and religious woman. She treated everyone with what they deserved. For her repaying the person with their karma was the most suitable act one can do. Not even her children could escape from these thoughts and practices of hers.
Lily head was down from the moment her mother turned back and looked into her eyes. She dared not look back and kept it down, "Yes mom, you are right. I will go now and do my part of work".
With a nod she left. She was the eldest daughter of the Filin and the one to resemble her mother the most but according to Mrs. Filin, Layla her second daughter resembled her the most in behaviour and virtue.
'She is back? What a luck…' Mrs. Filin scoffed over the fact that her third daughter Leigh Filin was back. 'I wonder what good karma she did to come back!'
There filled an ugliest hatred in her eyes as she thought about her third daughter.
…
"Get off me!" Tia screamed out at him; her glare remained sharp.
'Eyes that of rose petals and small cute lips. This face so similar to one I ignored all those years… I wonder if Mrs. Filin had twins?' Roff stared closely at her face.
There was just an inch gap between their face as he kept her hand pressed against the bed while being over her. Tia was completely irritated over this situation.
Seeing him staying ignorant even after she screamed constantly, she furiously head butted him, "Dare you come close to me!" she bit her lips once he was pushed back.
He rubbed his forehead while glaring her, "What a rough personality. Are you a beast!" he frowned.
Tia didn't waste a second and got off the bed while moving her body quickly.
Now they both stood at each side of the bed. "What is this place and who are you? What's you motive?" her eyes vigilantly stared him as she questioned. She was heaving when she saw the pipe injected in her hand to transport nutrients. She took it off at the spot and moved far away till she reached the window.
Whereas Roff was uninterested with all her moves since nothing will go as she wanted. Seeing her stuck at the window and staring for a way out, he smirked, "Give up, Leigh. You are already in my trap".
Tia was moving quickly like a squirrel to look for a way out but the name he used to call her made her pause for a moment and look at him in a questionable manner. "What?" she snickered.
"Leigh, just stop moving and rest or you will not get well quickly to leave this hospital".
Tia clutched at the white shirt with lot of strawberry drew over it and frowned, "Who are you kidding, I am not Leigh, I am…"
She paused. It was forbidden in her group to tell any outsider their name. Not only outsider but their member barely knew their name. except for the chief, no one got to know each other name.
The man laughed at her taking a sudden break out of nowhere. More than that, he was laughing at her innocence, "Do you really assume that I can't see your movement?" he asked to the girl who slowly reached the door.
Tia bit her lips, glaring intimidatingly at him. she took a turn and started to open the door only to tire herself since it was locked properly from outside.
"Why would I let a stranger free knowing well that she can ran away?" he shook his head and sat back making her realize that there was nowhere for her to go.
The girl who wasn't even wearing sleepers scowled, "So you already know!" she muttered and stayed still where she was.
The man patted on the bed with a smile, "Here have a seat, don't waste your energy that you got after having all those expensive medicines. Try to save it to pay me later".
She remained unmoved and that made Roff to click his tongue in annoyance, "Ok, lets start with introduction first. I am Roff Gordon, the one who," he pointed at her arms bad condition, "shot your arms mercilessly".
"Why did you let me live?" she asked quickly, recalling the night when a man appeared like messiah to grant her a quick death.
He got up at that question and started to move closer to her. the girl felt her heart racing fast not because of his seductive face but because of fear of unknow. She would've moved back if not for the door that remained shut whereas running elsewhere in the small room seemed useless.
He cornered her against the wall and moved his charming face closer to hers, his thin lips getting closer to her ears, "Don't ask more than you should". He whispered. "Either become Leigh or die as a terrorist!"
That was the perfect threat she has ever got where she has no other choice but to surrender.
