To his gentle concern greeted her cold words, "You should stop being nosy," she nodded once as she kept her teeth grit tight.
Lily quickly crawled down of the bed and fixed her creased dress with her steady and quick hands. And with a sharp glance at him for once, she began to walk toward the door which needed her to pass by him and at that heated moment Ryan grabbed her wrist, "Is your family situation still the same".
Lily clenched teeth tightened; she frowned as her eyes rolled down at his hand that has dared to hold her back.
"Genuinely, you should stop messing with me by being so nosy," her glare stopped at his eyes that stared her pitifully.
"A surgeon like you and you still have time in your hand to come check a patient who isn't related to you. I am amused to see you working so patiently," Lily taunted and jerked his hand away before taking a step away.
