With the sun radiating its warm embrace, Sucura strode confidently along the road. The gentle heat caressed his skin, invigorating him with each step.
Lost in thought, he mused to himself, 'Today, I have acquired three common spells and one rare spell. I shall dedicate my time to mastering them later tonight and in the following evenings. I must learn the mind blank spell, for I feel disconcerted when I suspect someone might be prying into my thoughts.'
As Sucura's journey continued, he veered off the path and approached the edge of a picturesque river. In the distance, a quaint bridge spanned the water, its stone railings adorned with intricate designs that spoke of skilled craftsmanship and a rich history.
A fence lined the riverbank, and Sucura rested his arm upon it, gazing pensively at the mesmerizing, crystal-clear water. Vibrant flowers dotted the landscape, adding to the scene's enchanting beauty.
He mused, 'I surmise that this river remains pristine even in a medieval like setting due to the existence of magic.' As he gazed into the river, his troubles seemed to momentarily dissipate, leaving him with a sense of peace and serenity.
After lingering in the river for quite some time, he gradually shifted his attention to his abilities, particularly the two new skills he had acquired in recent days: [Blur Evasion] and [Astral Finesse].

Blur Evasion (Epic Rank) (Passive):
- is a defensive ability that enhances the user's evasiveness. By delving deep within harnessing their innate fortitude, the user acquires heightened agility in artfully sidestepping enemy onslaughts. Furthermore, this skill has a secondary effect that may cause the enemy's vision to become temporarily blurred, making it even more difficult for them to accurately target the user.
He contemplated, 'This art of evasion, I've skillfully mastered under the expert tutelage of Linda during our morning sessions. She is an exceptional instructor, providing clear and concise guidance. Whenever I posed a question, she elucidated the answer with ease, as if unraveling the simplest arithmetic conundrum.'
Astral Finesses (Unique Rank) (Active):
- is an active skill that melds the qualities of unerring accuracy and meticulous precision through the adequate manipulation of mana. This skill empowers the wielder to strike their target with remarkable exactitude, ensuring that their attacks land exactly where they intend them to.
He continued, 'In recent days, I've come to suspect that this innate skill may have originated from my time on Earth. It proves to be particularly advantageous when wielding my dagger and, even more so, with my firearm. Regrettably, it consumes mana as well, which limits the number of shots I can take.'
Sucura gazed at the heavens and musing, 'There are numerous abilities that, when employed in unison, yield extraordinary power. However, maintaining such a potent force requires unwavering concentration, akin to a candle flame battling a fierce gust of wind. That is why I yearn for the [Synthesis] ability, which I believe resides within the realm of mythical spells.'
With a graceful motion, he withdrew from the riverbank, where a fence traced the enchanting water's edge. He then proceeded to follow the path that meandered into the distance.

Vyn Conrad [Slave Route]
As he gazed into the gilded mirror, admiring his striking features, a sudden, horrifying transformation occurred. Dark, crimson liquid oozed from his eyes and ears, and one of his once lustrous golden eyes was violently dislodged, revealing the grotesque, fleshy interior.
He clutched his face with his palm, and in the blink of an eye, the nightmare vanished.
Fury coursed through Vyn as he spat out, "That wretched puppeteer and the vile, soul sucking authority have betrayed our agreement. I was certain he had devoured the soul. I saw it with my own eyes! I believed he was nothing more than a manipulated puppet, with only a subconscious presence remaining."
His anger palpable, Vyn paced back and forth in his chamber. "The black, translucent screen that once aided me has failed to appear since our dealings in the Village of Meroeda."
In that moment, his arm transformed into a dark, nightmarish appendage, covered in countless eyes that bulged and vanished, only to reappear once more.
The arm shrank to an unnaturally small size before he blinked, and it returned to normal as if nothing had happened.
The horror of the situation was inescapable, and Vyn's fury continued to grow.
"I must eliminate that fucking Sucura. I long to flay him alive and tear his limbs to shreds. He's fortunate that the King's belief in omens has spared him thus far," Vyn seethed, his nostrils flaring with fiery rage.
"How dare he… How dare… How dare…" he muttered, his voice trembling with fury as he stalked towards the closet. With a slow, deliberate motion, he opened the door.
"How dare he disrespect you, Mother," Vyn whispered, his smile twisted and sinister, his face shrouded in darkness.
Inside the closet, a decapitated head stared back at him, the woman's eyes wide with terror, as if begging not to be subjected to the torments of hell once more.
A macabre congregation of tiny millipedes, rove beetles, parasitic wasps, and maggots feasted upon her decaying flesh, their writhing bodies creating a grotesque sight.
"Fear not, Mother. Your head shall continue to regenerate as they consume you," Vyn assured her, his smile never faltering. With a soft, chilling laugh, he closed the closet door, leaving the gruesome scene behind.
Abruptly, a black translucent screen materialized before Vyn, taking him aback for a moment before he exclaimed, "At last!"
With an eerie, piercing whistle, a figure materialized from the shadows, dropping to one knee in a display of absolute devotion. "Wallace," Vyn commanded, his voice cold and unyielding, "your mission is to capture Sucura by any means necessary. You may inflict pain upon him, but ensure he remains alive."
Vyn tossed a dimensional ring to Wallace, his eyes gleaming with sinister intent. "He will undoubtedly venture beyond the kingdom's borders. It is there that you must seize him. Enlist the aid of skilled Divination Practitioners from the Black Market, or exploit any opportunistic individuals lurking within the castle walls. I entrust this crucial task to you."
With unwavering loyalty, Wallace responded, "As you wish, Milord," before disappearing into the darkness as abruptly as he had materialized.
A malevolent smile spread across Vyn's face, his features twisting with dark ambition. "I shall forge a kingdom where they will revere me as their one true God."
