I've just ruined my first offical date with Lina.
This is the thought that's running through my mind when Lina and I exit the restaurant.
She is walking ahead of me in a brisk manner.
I take my car keys from the valet and go to open the car door for Lina who gets in without looking at me.
Sighing,I go to the other side of the car and get behind the wheel.
"I'm sorry for hurting your feelings,precious.That wasn't my intention,I swear."
I nervously watch as she continues to look outside the window like something interesting could actually be seen in this dark night.
Then she turns to me with mellow expression and says,"I know."
I breathe a sigh of relief.
"Do you forgive me?"
"Yes.I get it.I mean,this is a pretty complicated situation. It's going to take some getting used to."
"Yeah,"I say weakly.
I mean it's been thirty minutes and I still haven't been able to process what Lina has told me.
