As I'm sitting across the expressionless Bruno,having just said the biggest lie I've ever told,it is officially the worst moment of my life.
He seems to have zoned off.
Why is he like this?Did he not hear me?
Maybe I broke him.
Or maybe he heard me and and knows that I'm lying.
Please don't let that be the case,lord.
"Bruno?"I call out in a low voice.
He finally blinks and seems to come back to reality.
"I'm sorry precious.I'm still processing.Did you say what I think you said?"he says with a dumbstruck look.
It's the first time I'm seeing like this,so confused and a little excited.
"I want to be with you,Bruno"I tell him as simply as possible.
"But you said..."
"I know what I said Bruno.I changed my mind."
