Wasting no time, I took my phone out of my pocket.
Ready to track Zara.
I knew that she would be with Marcello somewhere…
Where she was, was a different story.
If she was at home, then I couldn't go there.
But if she was out with him, then I could turn up to the location.
I just needed to see her again.
To lay my eyes on her beautiful face again.
I remembered the number plate of Marcello's car, and inserted it into my tracking facility.
Just praying that he'd gone somewhere with her.
Knowing that he never went out without her.
Wouldn't let her leave his sight for a moment.
My tracker got to work, and I waited patiently for it to load up the coordinates of the car.
And I let out a sigh of relief, my heart hammering against my chest…
As the map pulled up.
They were at a restaurant on the other side of town.
And it made my blood boil to the point it almost dried up.
Knowing that he'd forced her to come with him…
To feed her a load of bullshit about how the marriage was going to be the best for the both of them.
That she should stop fighting it.
But a respectful man would never lay hands on a woman.
Would never hit her.
Would never ask her to do anything against her will.
And I knew that Marcello was doing all of these things to her.
So I knew enough about the man to make a judgement.
The judgement that he was a fucking bastard that needed dealing with.
Needed putting in his place.
Needing burying six feet under the fucking ground.
I needed to speak to her.
I needed to speak to her just once…
To give her some reassurance that her nightmare would be over soon.
I would go to war for her…
Just so that she didn't have to marry that piece of fucking scum.
I nodded to myself, not wanting to waste any time.
I made my way out of the private lounge, and over to Fizz, who was still enjoying his lap dance.
"I'm going to run some errands, bro," I called to him. "Make your own way home. Don't wait up for me!"
"Cool, bro!" Fizz called back, uninterested, too immersed in the broad that was dancing on him.
I rolled my eyes, making my way outside…
And started my car, ready to drive to the restaurant where Zara was.
