Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 - The New King of Curses

"Sorry, I got bored halfway through explaining."

Alcatraz stands over a dissected Sukuna, his eyes holding no emotion as he looks down at the so called "King of Curses."

"You were... holding back from the start..." Sukuna managed to say through his split jae as it was slowly starting to heal. "No... even now..."

Whatever Sukuna was hoping to hear from the man standing over him never came, as he had turned his back to him and started to walk away.

His path led him back towards the broken Megumi, his emotionless eyes now holding a modicum of sympathy for the traumatized boy who could only lay on the floor and beg for the nightmare to stop.

Suddenly, he grabbed Megumi by his collar, picking him up from the ground and holding his up as if he was nothing but a small animal. He placed him on his knees and pushed his cheeks, forcing open his mouth.

Megumi's eyes widened in terror as he started to futilely struggle against Alcatraz's grip, the position that he was in all too familiar to him.

Alcatraz then stuck his entire hand down Megumi's mouth, forcing his way down his throat. Megumi could do nothing but choke and uselessly try to pull away as Alcatraz's had reached his stomach, feeling him grab something deep within his body.

"I'm sorry..." Alcatraz whispered softly to the boy before wrenching his arm out of his gullet, causing the last Fushiguro to gasp for air as he dry heaved.

In his hand, the finger that Sukuna had forcibly fed to Megumi was now within his grasp.

"You're a... disgusting fucker..."

Sukuna's voice was the last thing he heard before the mental scape around them all started to crack and break apart.

---

Back in reality, Yuta and Yuji were standing behind the frozen Alcatraz and Sukuna, wondering what had happened before they suddenly saw Sukuna's body start to boil and fizzle until the familiar image of Fushiguro Megumi was revealed.

"Megumi!" Yuji yelled out at the sight of his friend, about to run towards him when Yuta suddenly grabbed him by the arm. "What the hell?!"

"Don't forget, we still don't know about him." Yuta said as he motioned towards the supposed "Faker."

Yuji wanted to retort, but he couldn't.

Yuta was right.

The man, although having taken down Sukuna, was still an unknown variable.

"So tell me." Alcatraz suddenly spoke up, his gaze turned towards the two behind him. "Was it you or Rika?"

Hearing the name, Yuta's eyes narrowed as he asked, "What are you talking about?"

Alcatraz set Megumi down on the floor gently, his eyes catching a glimpse of something shiny amidst the rubble. Moving the rocks, he found Kamutoke lying there, the weapon seemingly ripe for the taking. He grabbed the cursed tool, dusting it off before suddenly appearing in front of Yuta, his hand ripping right through his stomach.

Not expecting such a violent turn, Yuta coughed up a very large amount of blood before collapsing backward onto the ground.

"I was asking which one of you had consumed the finger." Alcatraz told him, his eyes having reverted to the regular emotionless orbs from before.

"Okkotsu-san!" Yuji yelled out as he aimed a punch at Alcatraz.

Feeling the punch approaching his face, Alcatraz didn't even move and let it connect with his jaw, looking as though he received absolutely no damage from that attack.

Yuji's eyes widened in shocked before he felt an overwhelming pain hit his own jaw, his body suddenly flying off into the air and going through the wall of a nearby building.

"YUTA!!!" A distorted female voice rang out.

The cursed spirit Rika suddenly lashed out from Yuta's body, aiming her claws at the one who had hurt her beloved.

"Hmph."

Alcatraz simply diced the spirit into four separate pieces, similarly to what Sukuna had done to the Finger Bearer. Reaching inside Rika's body, he felt what he was looking for and pulled it out.

"Sorry for the hole in your stomach, but it was the only way to get what I needed from you." Alcatraz said as he pressed his foot against Yuta's chest, holding the two fingers he had in his possession.

"You took--"

"All of the fingers. All twenty." Alcatraz cut him off.

Yuta's eyes narrowed at him. Was this what he was aiming for the entire time?

"All this carnage because of a couple fingers..." Alcatraz muttered as he looked the two digits in his hand. "Such petty little things..."

He leaned his head back and opened his mouth, placing the two fingers over it before dropping them in and swallowing them.

---

Once again, Alcatraz found himself deep within a dark void, but this time it was the void of his own soul.

"You sure didn't take long..."

Turning around, Alcatraz found himself looking up at the King of Curses as he sat atop his Malevolent Shrine.

"Alcatraz..." Sukuna said his name with a devilish smile. "Or is it... Cain?"

The sound of his second name caused Alcatraz to clench his fists in a blind anger for a split second, having to quickly reel himself in.

But in that split second, Sukuna felt the onslaught of Cursed Energy that Alcatraz had built up inside of him, which felt as if it was enough to level a whole city on its pressure alone.

"You're a twisted little thing, aren't you, Cain? Even by my standards." Sukuna continued to goad, even though he knew that Alcatraz was liable to kill him slowly.

The entire time, even while he was being sliced apart back when they were in Fushiguro's body, Alcatraz was holding back.

He knew that he couldn't best him. After all, he was him without the limitations placed on him due to the Binding Vow.

The World Slash, or World Dismantle as Alcatraz calls it, was at its fullest potential with him. The Binding Vow he had taken on order to kill Satoru Gojo was not something Alcatraz had done.

And even if he had, he would still die easily to him. But just because he can't hurt him physically, doesn't mean he can't hurt him mentally.

One last "fuck you" before this damned otherworldly monster sent him to depths of Hell.

"How does the new body feel? Stiff, I'm sure, but don't worry, you'll get used to it. It has more charm than the last one you had. Y'know, the one that you stole from your best friend."

Despite all his goading, Alcatraz didn't seem to react any more than he already did. But that mattered little to Sukuna.

"I understand now. The name. 'Faker'." Sukuna smiled. "Stealing my techniques... I have to admit, it pisses me off. Though, I can't help but be a little bit amused. After all, you and I aren't so different from each other."

As soon as he finished that sentence, Sukuna found that Alcatraz was suddenly upside down.

No, that wasn't it...

"Wouldn't be what I have chosen for my last words, but I suppose it's good enough for someone like you." Alcatraz said as he walked over and crouched down next to Sukuna's severed head.

Sukuna's looked up at the boy, red eyes glaring into red eyes before he suddenly smirked with a hint of demented glee.

"Yeah... That's the way... Keep going... just like that..."

After saying his piece, his head was split down the middle by another Dismantle.

"Shut the fuck up."

---

Seeing that the man was now frozen, Yuta quickly used his sword to try and slice off his leg. To his surprise, instead of slicing through his flesh, the sword was bounced off as if it had collided with solid metal.

"That was rude." Alcatraz said before removing his boot from his chest.

Now free, Yuta immediately jumped away from the Faker, clutching his stomach as he secretly healed himself with his Reversed Curse Technique.

"Says the man who shoved his hand in my stomach..." Yuta retorted, narrowing his eyes at the man.

"Fair enough." Alcatraz said with a dismissive shrug.

The two stared at each other for quite some time before Alcatraz gave Okkotsu a small smirk.

"As much as I would love to entertain this pointless battle..." Alcatraz said sarcastically as he turned and started walking away. "...I'm afraid that this is where we part ways."

Yuta rushed forward, jumping in the air and using his sword to slice downward onto the top of Alcatraz's head. Just before he could make contact, a black and blue portal suddenly opened and a strong torrent of wind blew him backward.

"Farewell, Itadori Yuji, Okkotsu Yuta." Alcatraz said, giving the boy a two-fingered before walking into the portal and disappearing from the area.

---

"Little rougher than I thought you were gonna be, but I suppose it's to be expected." Astral said as he saw Alcatraz walk through the portal. "You're a greedy little shit, aren't you?"

"I did as you asked and killed Sukuna. You never said anything about going about it nicely. If you have a problem, blame yourself for not specifying." Alcatraz replied simply.

"Mhm, so taking his weapon and consuming his power to make your own was... what exactly?" Astral asked as he looked at the mortal up and down.

Alcatraz didn't respond to the question, which caused Astral to form a slight grin.

"Thought so."

"Will you keep your end of the deal or not?" Alcatraz asked, growing sick of the god in front of him.

"Hmm, will I?" Astral said as he placed a hand on his chin and formed a thoughtful pose before shrugging his shoulders. "Eh, I suppose I can. A deal is a deal. Besides, I want to see how you do."

Hearing his words, Alcatraz narrowed his gaze at the god.

"How I do against what?"

Astral smirked before lifting his hand and snapping his fingers, forcing Alcatraz out of the void and into the new universe he will call his home.
