As Nibiru stood in the arena, he looked at the sword in his hand. It felt heavy, yet familiar. He had seen his father wield one just like it. He couldn't help but wonder if his father was alive, and if he would ever see him again.
Just then, a girl was brought to the arena, and Nibiru was paired up with her. Her name was Aiwa. As they stood there, waiting for the phase to begin, they started to talk. They were both nervous, but they agreed to help each other survive.
Aiwa had lost her parents when she was young, and she had been living on the streets ever since. Nibiru felt sorry for her, but at the same time, he admired her strength.
When the phase began, Nibiru felt a rush of adrenaline. He moved quickly, dodging his opponent's attacks and striking back with precision. He felt like he was in his element, like he was meant to be here.
As the fight went on, Nibiru started to feel more and more confident. He swung his sword upwards and slashed it down faster than the other child could react. The other child fell to the ground, pleading for his life.
But Nibiru knew what he had to do. He had to put fear into the other children, so they wouldn't dare to come after him. He sliced off his contender's head, and the Demonic Masters were impressed.
After the fight, Nibiru and Aiwa sat down to rest. They talked about what had just happened, and Nibiru couldn't help but feel guilty about what he had done.
"I never wanted to kill anyone," he said. "I just want to survive and get out of here."
Aiwa nodded. "I understand. We're all just trying to survive. But we have to be careful. We can't let our guard down, or we'll end up like them."
Nibiru nodded, and they sat there in silence, waiting for the next phase to begin.
