Early morning the next day a youth about five feet and some inches tall was walking in the ninth city heading to the city gate. The youth was handsome with black hair very dark and it was low and well trim on his head, it was not far away from the skin on his head if he should take another cut from the hair it will turn bald. The handsome youth with bright eyes was wearing a brown robe with white strive designs on the front of the robe, he look pale like someone that was suffering from a serious illness but every step he took was filled with strength. The youth was none other than Oliver on his shoulder was White Lotus who sat there comfortably, with how white its fur was it look like it was glowing under the brilliance of the sun.
"The ten thousand battle tournament is starting today". Oliver said lightly as he was walking he was filled with expectancy of the tournament because he wanted to see young stars like him and how strong they are. He wants to face them and know what he will have to do to get stronger than others. He felt his blood boiling from the excitement, he knew the tournament will be filled with different levels of oppositions and it will also be eventful.
"Information was sent to everyone that will be taking part in the tournament to go to their various city assessment and instruction hall from there they will be grouped into one of the various groups for the ten thousand battle tournament," Oliver said as they were walking he was explaining most of the information received through his Dao sense to white Lotus.
"I wonder which group I will be placed in, I hope I make it through the first level of the tournament". Oliver said calmly.
"Boss you will surely make it past the first stage of the tournament, you did make some progress from your sleep the other time"

It was up to one thousand people standing there and compare to the other city in the first hell the ninth city was the weakest in standard and had less population compared to the other cities, be it citizens of Samsara or those that were sent in for training the ninth city was short on them.
Oliver saw different sets of people be they handsome, beautiful, or ugly they were there from the back Oliver noticed that there was a platform, and standing on it was no other than the greedy Hall Master Leo that dealt with him seriously reducing the amount of his Dao crystals just because he could not get the information he wants from Oliver.
When Oliver saw him he just glance through and continue observing the people that were in the space outside the assessment and instruction hall, while he was looking he felt like someone was observing him seriously and could not help but turn to see who was looking at him seriously. When he did, trying to find who it was he found out that it was not coming from behind but from Hall Master Leo that was addressing the Magical cultivators that were before him.
As soon as they made eye contact Hall Master Leo that was in the middle of his hot speech could not help but stop his speech half and was lost in thought. "What! I can't see through this little fellow like before".
"All I could determine is that he is still at the fifth level of the Qi essence realm". Hall Master Leo stopped and took a deep breath like he was trying to catch his breath and all of this was noticed by the one thousand magical cultivators that were in the assessment and instruction square.
"I could not even see his life root core unlike before I could see it, I know he did not have a life root and when I report him I still got the same answer that he did not have life root from the higher authority".

With Oliver being at the fifth level of the Qi essence realm the size of his life root core would be the size of a tennis ball but the black seed was the size of an apple seed resting in Oliver's dantian and Oliver was the only one to notice it and he felt it was all right since he did not have a life root and a life root core he took the black seed as the life root core and he was not bothered with the size as long as he could be a magical cultivator and there was no bad effect coming from it apart from his bad luck curse.
