Chapter 13 - Chapter 10 Running

The cry of worry that sounded came from Oliver, when the little cat ran off he felt the danger that he was feeling before increased this time around it was more terrifying than before when Oliver looked forward at where he was heading to and where the little cat was coming from he any extremely red eyes looking at him with anger. Oliver did not wait to see if his eyes were deceiving him or not.

He started running toward the direction that the little cat was heading this time around Oliver was faster than when he was chasing the wind antelope, it was like he placed his life on his foot and was running with it. All his hope of survival was placed on his feet.

When Oliver took a deep breath he discovered that he was smelling different from before but he could not tell what kind of smell was that but he discovered that it was the smell that the spirit beast that was behind was following and whit the way the spirit beast acted from behind him far off he was any closer to Oliver he would kill him immediately.

"that evil little cat placed this scent on me the moment it ran passing by me I was marked to be the target of the spirit beast behind me"

Oliver was confused about what to do, he knew heading forward was dangerous, and filled with uncertainty but going back was just death because the spirit beast was there and was about to give chase it was the distance between him and the spirit beast that was stopping it from taking action on him.

Oliver did not have the time to pay closer attention to the spirit beast this time, so he was unable to see what it looks like. He knew if he should delay his actions and decision, he will truly end up in the ninth forest today.

"Why is all this happening to me? I will have to waste my effort from before. Is today a blessing day or a cursed day for me?"

Frustration was eating him up, after running for a minutes going to two Oliver threw away the wind antelope that he paid so much pain to kill, he was hoping to buy some time from the wind antelope that he threw off, if the spirit beast would slow down to take a look at the meat of the wind antelope the he would be able to create more distance between the two of them.

Oliver felt his heartache from the pain of losing his first kill on his own just like that, even his and the injury from the wind antelope also cause him pain the moment he threw off the bag, it was like the price he paid was for waste.

But anyone that was in the same situation as Oliver would do the same thing, Keeping his life was the major thing to do, not thinking about getting an apartment only those that are alive live in houses and either have a good or a bad time alive. The dead don't pass through any of that or feel anything and Oliver wants to be among the living, if he dies here there was no killing of another wind antelope even killing a mosquito would not happen, not to mention a spirit beast. So letting go was the fastest thing to do and increase his speed to save his life.

Oliver had a cruel smile on his face as he was running.

"If worse comes worse I have to give the spirit everything I've got, I won't die lying". Oliver made up his mind to put up a fight if the spirit beast was to catch up to him but he did not slow with his running if he could avoid it would be better and he will try his best to avoid it and face it if not necessary.

As Oliver was running a white small figure ahead of him ran very fast

"You little bastard! You are trying to run away from me after you set me up as a target for that spirit beast behind me". Oliver roared at the little that was way ahead of him with anger, as he saw the little he was happy that the little cat was running in the same path and had not decided to hide or change the path.

"Hey, you crafty cat, you better stop running and handle your problem yourself". As Oliver was running he was shouting at the little cat that was running desperately but no matter how hard and loud he shouted the little cat refused to stop.

It was like a death race with the serial killer at the back of his two targets and whoever he catches first between the two will have to die, when the killing will take place it will be enough for the one that was alive to leave with his or her alive. Oliver and the little cat were trying their best to be the one alive and not end up as the sacrifice for the other.

The little cat was receiving the shock of its life as it was running it felt the space between him and Oliver shrinking up as they ran. The little cat gave Oliver a look of terror like it was looking at a monster. The little cat was wondering how a weak person, who was struggling to carry the wind antelope on his back this fast.

Before the little cat could finish with the thought in its head, it felt the wind blow past it and Oliver was ahead of it. Oliver had a peaceful smile on his face as he passed the little and was ahead of it.

"Little fellow, why don't you take care of your problems yourself and pretend I was never here"

"How does it feel to be caught up in your plan? Ha-ha-ha, I was never here". Oliver roar with laughter he knew he would be able to survive the odd deal because he had overtaken the little cat.
