Chapter 5 - Chapter 2 Family Bond

Old man Robin left the room leaving Oliver to stay in the room with a gloomy face.

Not up to fifteen minutes Oliver went to the living room and was greeted by some delicacies that were already there waiting for him. He saw Old Man Robin smiling at him lightly.

"This is more like it".

"Grandfather you can wake me up anytime and anyhow you want if it is just to let me taste good delicacy," Oliver said with so much joy.

"Hahaha, silly child, your love for food is to another level". Old man Robin said with laughter they started digging into the food.

Not long two people walked out of Old Man Robin's compound with wide laughter and it was Old Man Robin and Olive

Oliver was wearing black trousers and a dark blue short sleeve top, he was a skinny boy and he look pale like he would collapse if he goes through any form of hard work. With his pale complexion, he was still handsome with sharp eyes, a pointed nose with a small mouth, he had short black hair, and his hair was shining under the sun like they were polished, not long, and he was four feet tall.

"You useless silly child". Old man Robin said like he rendering praise to the young boy.

"The Grandfather I will drop this heavy bag on the ground, so you carry it yourself and know how heavy it is".

"When you carry it, you won't be swaging off and saying those ill words of yours you know". Oliver said grumbling.

Oliver was carrying a quiver of arrows and a bow for his grandfather with a sword inside the quiver.

"I will help you but not now". Old man Robin said.

As the two of them started walking down the street they heard different voices, from the houses along the road with children playing outside.

I wonder why Old Man Robin is still doing his best taking care of this waste of a grandson, that has no life root and won't be able to become a magical cultivator"

Different people were saying negative things about Oliver but he and his grandfather behaved like they could not hear what they were saying and minded off with their own business.

They walked almost getting out of the street they saw five children playing with four around the same age as Oliver, the last one was a male and was two years older than Oliver.

"Oliver the trash of our town, you should look for something to do, stop stressing Old Man Robin". The boy said mockingly,

"My younger brother, who is nine-year-old, is already a magical cultivator and can conjure fire now". The boy said proudly raining praises on his younger brother

"Grandfather, can you hear any stray dog barking?".

"some hungry dogs are grumbling close by".

"Grandfather, what do I say to the hungry dogs?

"Tell them that we left some food in our trash and they should go help themselves with it".

Oliver and Old Man Robin laughed and walk off without paying attention to the children.

About fifteen minutes later they arrive at the entrance to a forest called Yellowstone forest outer region. The forest was divided into three categories.

The outer region was just the periphery of the forest where the animals that could be hunted were not that dangerous to hunt.

The inner region once you step into the inner region then you have to be highly vigilant about the animals there, they are life-threatening.

In the extreme region, you have to have the strength before you decided to step that far in the Yellowstone forest if not you will end up dying inside with you being food to the spirit beast inside.

All the hunters that went on to hunt were always vigilant even in the outer range because sometimes most of that deadly spirit beasts might decide to step into any of the regions from the extreme region and if one is not sensitive enough they will fall victim to that spirit beast.

Old man Robin would always go hunting, it would always be at the outer region whenever he went hunting with Olver, when he went without Oliver he will venture into the inner region with ease.

It was from his hunting gains that they were able to be living fine.

Old Man Robin was a good hunter and was always successful every time he went hunting.

"Stay close to me and don't leave my side without being told". Old Man Robin said and took the quiver and the bow from Oliver.

He took the lead into the forest with a serious look on his face, Oliver followed closely and also had a serious look on his

"Hey, Old Man don't walk any further than those steps, you just took".

"You and that little trash of yours should stay in place and not move"

Three men wearing black all down jumped off the tree they were standing on, the three of them carry a sword on their backs.

"is he the one? Asked the man in the middle pointing at Old Man Robin from his voice he was the person that asked them to stop he looked at the shortest person in their midst by his right side the man who nodded his head as a sign of approval.

"No need to waste time" With that said the man threw a circular metal at Old Man Robin.

The metal released a destructive force as it was charging toward old Man Robin and Oliver.

On the other Old man, Robin took a stone from his pocket as quickly as the man, on the stone was a letter it look like "S" but it was written backward.

"Oliver where ever you go make use of that bad luck curse of yours"

"It is not a curse but a blessing, don't worry about me I will be fine".

"Try your best to stay alive Grandfather always loves you".

A bright light shone on Oliver and he disappeared from there instantly.
