Chapter 17 : Shocked
There was silence in the dinning room for a while after Raymond's confession. Tristan stared at his son as he processed the words he just said while Raymond just stared at his wine glass as he tap his finger on it knowing that his father was staring at him.
And Lilian was the first to break the silence between them.
" See, I told you Dad, Ray likes her. Too bad I won't be staying around for a while so I would see the girl he's talking about " Lilian said and Raymond rolled his eyes.
" Ray look at me " Lord Tristan finally said and Raymond raised his head up and looked at his father with his bright red eyes as he gazed into his father's darker ones.
" You know very well that she belongs to an Alpha Werewolf right ?
" Yes father "
" And you know that going to fight an Alpha over his mate can cost you your life "
" Yes father "
