Following the map in the red haired Valkyrie, Vera's hand they proceeded into the forest.
Lisa used light magic to illuminate the path that they followed into the forest.
...
Soon, they reached a double path and stopped to decide where to follow.
"Taking the left path will lead us to the light hides, those nasty creatures..."
The light hides were humanoid creatures that were extremely short and had pure white skin.
These creatures love having sex all day with themselves and are easily tempered.
All hides are the same as they just love to sex all day.
"We know how much you despise them. What about the right path?" the princess asked.
"Well, in the right path, the only dangers to watch out for are the glexers that spring out of the ground once in a while" she stated.
Glexers were creatures of wood element almost like gnomes. They have an annoying ability to regenerate which makes them hard to deal with. The only way to deal with them was to use a deadly spell or skill to incinerate them and not leave a part of their body not destroyed.
"I guess we'll follow the right path then" the princess agreed as she didn't like those hides either.
The rest of the Valkyries all agreed and they proceeded into the right path.
All of them brought out their weapons as they have to be ready for any sudden attack from those glexers.
The princess unsheathed her beautiful white sword from it's sheath. It had a beautiful design on the handle with a spiral design. And the blade was weirdly white and emitted a white chilling aura.
As they proceeded they were at alert to notice anything or changes in the surroundings.
*Brrrrr*
The ground vibrated beneath their feet and they all stopped.
"Shhh..." the princess put a finger on her lips as she shushed them. The glexers seems to be attracted to sounds and vibrations in the ground caused by movements.
They raised their weapons in defence as they waited a little.
*Brah*
*Rarrhh...*
A few away from them, a large monster made out of wood emerged from the floor. This creature seems to have wooden horns that curved backwards. It's entire body structure was made of wood, even the eyes. It had some green leaves and algae at various parts of the body also.
"A glexer!" the princess brows furrowed as she saw the 12 feet tall giant made out of wood and she...all of them took a battle stance.
*Rarrhh*
The glexers noticed them and ran towards them with no emotion whatsoever in it's eyes.
"Attack from all directions, scatter!!' the princess and the Valkyries ran towards different angles, surrounding the glexer.
The glexer didn't show any fear and just attacked them, punching the ground and making a crack in the floor that extended towards one of the Valkyries.
They all knew physical attacks won't work so they added elemental attacks to their attacks.
*Phew*
A blue fire ball flew passed the air and travelled straight towards the glexer.
Seeing the fireball the Valkyries nearby jumped backwards and before the glexer could even look back.
*Bang*
Wood pieces fell from the sky as the attack caused an explosion that severed one of it's arms.
The others looked at where it came from and saw Lora holding her staff towards the glexer.
The princess grabbed her sword and sped towards the glexer.
"Support me with magical attacks, I'll steal it's focus" the princess dashed at inhumane speed towards the glexer.
She jumped high in the air while raising her sword up. She swung her sword down as she came down, slashing the glexer's back from it's neck till it's butt which was also made of wood.
Expectedly, the glexer healed almost immediately as it turned around with a expression on its face...'Rage'.
*RARRHH...*
The glexer roared louder than before and the Valkyries all closed their ears as the noise was too much.
*Crack...Brah*
*Rarrhh...*
*Rarrhh...*
Two other glexers emerged from the ground from opposite directions. They both looked smaller than the first one and was only about 10 feet tall...but they were still big.
"We'll split up...hah!"
The princess ordered as she ran towards the big glexer with two people by her side.
Kana and Vera, Vera held a short staff with a small red crustal at the top which complimented her hair colour while Kana held two short swords which were initially sheathed on her waist.
The three ran to deal with the big one while the others splitted into groups of four to deal with the glexers.

*BOOM*
A red fireball hit the monster fight in it's chest causing an explosion and leaving a gaping hole in it's chest.
The monster didn't still fall as it started healing immediately. Root like wood were weaving and tangling together, filling up the empty space in the monster's chest.
"Princess, Kana, buy me some time. I'm going to send this creature to hell" Vera said with anger and frustration on her face.
The princess nodded as she ran towards the back of the big glexer while Kana attack from the front.
She slided down, dodging the huge wooden fist that was about to reach her.
She stood up and slashed at it's leg cutting it off and falling it to the ground.
Kana kept up in the air and used an elemental skill with her sword.
"Wind gale!"
She rotated on the air and spun twice, sending wind arcs that were as sharp as her sword towards the glexer.
*Shah...shah*
The glexer now had two deep lines that looked like huge sword s on its chest.
It regrew it's legs and stood up with rage.
*RAAARRRHHH*
It waved it's hands around smashing the ground multiple times more faster than before. Kana and Mira only kept dodging as they didn't see any openings to attack.
"It's ready!" the princess shouted towards Kana as she saw Vera's staff glowing a bright red light.
Both the princess and Kana sliced both of the glexers arms off. They moved again and slashed the legs off too.
*Bang*
The glexer fell to the ground as it has been incapacitated.
"All you Vera!" Kana shouted as her and the princess jumped out of the way.
...
Vera opened her bright eyes which glowed a red light and directed her staff directly at the glexer that was regenerating on the ground.
"Death ray!" She muttered and..
"Baaaaa*
A large red ray of light of almost 20 metres shot out of the staff like a spear.
The glexer could only lay helplessly on the floor as the ray erased it from this world.
"(Pants)...whoo." Vera smiled as she tried to catch her breath. She looked at the destruction caused by her death ray and wasn't stunned but delighted. There was a huge opening that lead to the outside of the forest that was created by the ray.
Trees and plants that got caught in the attack had part or all of their body erased.
The ground had a deep crater lime that looked like a straight tree was pressed into the floor.

"I think you overdid it Vera!" Kana said as she walked over to Vera's side.
"It's not about overdoing it...it's about taking care of the problem" she said.
Kana didn't want to argue with Vera and left it at that.
"Come on, we're almost at the middle of the forest" the princess said as she called the others which were resting as they dealt with their targets faster.
Kana and Vera joined them as they proceeded to reach the middle of the forest.
