"Don't make fun of with father." Celeste expressed coldly. It was apparent that she didn't like how Auriel called Duke Weaver sweet and adorable.
'Oh, damn! Is she a father-con?' Auriel thought with a wry smile and spoke. "I wouldn't dare to do that, dear Celeste. I was just playing around to lighten the mood. Don't you think that the atmosphere is pretty heavy here after you accused me of being into kids?"
Celeste blinked a few times and nodded as if she understood something important. Then she placed her cup onto the table and leaned to Auriel and whispered in a barely audible tone. "Father is away, on a mission and Clint is in the royal palace. This is all you need to know."
However, as a Master, Auriel didn't have much difficulty hearing it.
"I see. Thanks for the information." Auriel expressed his gratitude and got up. "If you have nothing to talk about, I am going to leave. I have things to do in the city."
