"I'm boreeeed, Roxie!" Damian slumped in the chair.
The carriage had only been on the road for about an hour. But the demon was already repeating that phrase over and over again. Sometimes, he leaned on Roxana's shoulder, but mostly, he teased the Duchess to get her attention.
"Oh, shut up!" Roxana hit Damian's arms with her book. "Sit straight! Don't sit with bad posture too often!"
Instead of obeying her nag, Damian sulked even more at Roxana. He threw the book the Duchess was holding, then rubbed his cheek against her face.
"If we were going with my power, we would have arrived long ago." Damian touched his forehead and dramatically said, "Oh Lord, I could die of boredom if I sat in a carriage for two days."
Roxana held his face and asked patiently, "Which Lord did you mention?"
"Myself." Damian grinned from ear to ear. He was delighted to have the Duchess' attention. "Do something before I suffocate in this coffin, Roxie!"
