After the baby boy was buried in the ground, the villagers began to leave the burial area one by one. Lyra, who could not bear to let Roxana sleep outside, finally asked Roxana to stay at her house.
"My house is not that warm, but at least you won't freeze to death in there." Lyra smiled and held Roxana's hands. "The temperature tonight will probably be colder, so you better sleep at my house."
Roxana glanced at Damian briefly before saying, "I can't leave my husband."
"You don't have to worry about him. He and Ronan have already gathered a lot of dry grass, so they should be able to burn a fire until morning."
Roxana preferred to keep quiet because she had no reason to stay with Damian. Besides, her body wouldn't be able to stand the night wind for too long, so it would be better if she stayed at Lyra's house.
"Thank you for your kindness, Mrs. Lyra," Roxana said with a smile.
