However, the hand's grip was so strong that Roxana could not pull her hand away even by an inch.
"Roxie, wake up!" Damian gripped Roxana's hand firmly, but she always wanted to kick him no matter how hard he tried to calm his Duchess down.
"Roxana! It's me, Damian!" he shouted, "You must wake up!"
Damian's shout managed to wake Roxana up. She immediately opened her eyes and sat on the bed in shock after falling from a height that had no end. Her body was drenched in sweat, and she wouldn't be able to control her breath for a while.
"Da-Damian," Roxana whispered his name, wishing she wasn't in dreamland anymore and had to face Izekiel.
Damian grasped Roxana's hand. "I'm here."
Roxana turned her head quickly, her expression that had always seemed cold and expressionless slowly melting away. The mask she had always worn on her face finally cracked within seconds.
