Roxana rushed out of her bedroom after hearing the bad news about Esmeralda. She had plans to use her, but someone poisoned her, so there was a possibility that she could die and become useless to Roxana.
When Roxana reached one of the guest rooms, she saw Zagan standing beside Esmeralda's bed. He had just finished grinding the medicine and was about to put it in Esmeralda's mouth with a spoon.
"What happened to her? Is the poison dangerous?" asked Roxana quickly.
Zagan turned his head but immediately turned his face away upon seeing Roxana still wearing her nightgown. He just didn't want to make Damian, who was standing behind Roxana, mad at him just because he was staring at the Duchess' body carelessly.
