Xander examined the message left by the All-Mother Rory; it was certainly a warning, but it was exceedingly ambiguous. And Xander, being Xander, was a cautious, if not calculating, individual.
And knowing someone had eyes everywhere did not set well with him, Nordic One, who was the Nordic one, and what he or she wanted with him.
It could also be a foreshadowing of what was to come since the event was leaving a sour taste in Xander's mouth in more ways than one.
In any case, even though he didn't appreciate the message, the information was useful.
However, the fact that someone was watching him was horrifying; as a result, his murder will have to be done in complete secrecy where lingering eyes could not reach him.
