«Route [A]: (Diva Lord Path): Return to the Shadow Clan and train to be the next clan lord. By selecting this road, you will be more vulnerable to danger, since you will be treading the path of Diva Lord, which means the summoning of new heroes by the God of Order Totome will be launched.»
«Route [B]: (Slayer Path): Hasha leads you to your father's buddy to train you to be a Diva slayer, which has fewer foes but is still hard labor. However, the other Diva Lords will regard you as a traitor and an enemy, a human puppet, but learn the art of the Seraphs, be loved by angels, and have an 80% probability of being engaged to a Seraphin by the age of eighteen»
«Route [C]: (Apostle Path): I serve, worship, and obey; this path will take you to the order and teach you some of the Seraph's teachings. Your guardian, on the other hand, will be fairly indulgent towards you as long as you are not caught doing anything illegal. This road is the prejudice path, loathed by many and loved by few, yet its reward is quick system activation, ten years of training to become Rory Pope, and the love by chaos perk will unlock at the age of fifteen.»
These three notifications appeared unexpectedly in Xander's thoughts, which surprised him for a variety of reasons.
So much so that he was rendered speechless for a brief period, despite the fact that when puzzles present themselves, it is only natural to desire to solve them.
And thinking about what these notifications were... he was at a loss, so much so that he began to question himself.
'What on earth is this intended to be?'
Xander asks inwardly, shocked, yet a man's or woman's voice can be heard echoing across the bridges of his mind moments later.
And, to be honest, he has no idea who it was or what gender the voice genuinely belonged to.
It seemed like a guy and a woman were conversing in his thoughts at the same time.
"Hello, dear host, my name is "The Voice Behind You," but since you don't like names that are short sentences or phrases.
"You can refer to me as "The Whisper" or the system's voice, and before you choose a path, let me first and foremost explain everything to you because this subject is extremely important."
Announce The Whisper, who appeared before Xander, mentally and metaphorically speaking of course, as s[he] began to communicate with him via a mysterious telepathic connection.
Meanwhile, Xander was both astonished and interested by this mysterious voice, so much so that he would be lying if he said he didn't have a slew of questions that needed to be answered right now.
So he did what any rational person would do in this situation: he inquired about the subject at hand.
'W-W-Whisper. I don't grasp the system... 'What is the system in the first place?'
'Or, more specifically, who or what are you, and why are you inside my head?'
In perplexity, Xander inquired, and happily, the voice or Whisper was gracious enough to explain the system in the simplest and shortest way imaginable.
"... Agh yes, the system... is... oh, that's right, I need to call you something before I start explaining, so what would you prefer to be called, seeing as you have so many names?"
"Would you prefer the name Xander, or would you prefer Kingu or Omega?"
[s]he inquired out of respect for his identification, to which Xander replied in the affirmative.
'Omega... Kingu... Xander, It doesn't matter because all of my names are useless at this point. Feel free to call me whatever you like. Whisper... just now, all I want are answers, not monikers.'
After all, at the end of the day, these were nothing more than identities, and they couldn't answer his numerous questions, thus they were currently meaningless.
Xander responded, remaining true to his argument, that at this point and time, all he wants is an answer to his numerous questions. The Whisper, of course, seem to have already taken notice of this and responded accordingly.
"Is that so, fufufu interesting; very well then, let's keep the formality professional then, Lord ΩAδ, that was your original name before reincarnation right, so that seems more fitting."
'That dumb name again, Egh... honestly, I'm too lazy at this point to care. Well, it doesn't matter because my mother's middle name appears to be far more horrifying, okay whatever makes happy Whisper, so can you clarify my current condition, and what exactly is the system?'
Xander remarked as he was briefly reminded of how dumb some of his names can get over time.
Meanwhile, The Whisper answered in kind.
"Well, then, Lord ΩAδ... *cough!* *cough!* If you ask me, it seems cool... So, let me tell you what I'm permitted to tell you: first and foremost, you're an apostle of the great All-Mother."
"And, to be honest, you are not the first person to enter this world with her blessing; however, you are the first person to enter this world with a sliver of her true power... My creator."
"And before you ask who the Great All-Mother truly is, the answer to that question is rather simple, if not a no-brainer."
"She is an omnipotent fertility Goddess; as such, her class and specialty is child birthing, while also breathing life into various extremely powerful beings."
"But regardless of that fact... I'm here with you for different reasons, as you should already know; Mother sent you here to rescue her child, and that child is special."
"So much so, I can't tell you its gender, name, purpose, or anything else apart from what you already know for both your safety and existence as a whole, but I will tell you this, you need power, and lots of it, you're in a world where God-like feats are considered normal."
Announce the whisper as [s]he bestows wisdom to Xander that he lacked previously.
Xander, on the other hand, was both intrigued and worried at the prospect of hearing that this world power scaling was at such a frightening level; if God-level feats were normal here, then what would be considered abnormal, he shuddered at the thought, and pecking at him, he inquired.
'Then what do you consider as abnormal then... if God-level feats are considered to be extremely normal here then?'
The Whisper's response, on the other hand, was truly terrifying.
"That's a good initial inquiry, so let me describe how deep you are in the trenches friend. But first, I'm going to put you in hibernation mode so I can teach you the fundamentals of the world and why choosing a route is vital as a necessary head start."
When Xander heard this, he wasn't terrified, but he was apprehensive that life would be difficult in the long run, and that training to gain greater power would be important. So much for being lazy, Xander reasoned.
As a result, his answer to The Whispers' statement was as follows.
'Why is it that life is never easy?'
"Hahaha... well friend, life is a challenge no matter which world you are in... isn't it Marvelous, either way... prepare for the cognitive shift."
'Cognitive... What now?'
Xander quickly fell unconscious after saying these words, as he felt his consciousness leaving his body, and was he correct?
Because suddenly he began to warp through a weird cloud of spiraling madness and various universes, stars, and everything else at that?
His entire spiritual essence came out of his body, making him fall asleep, meanwhile, his spirit soon began to leak through a different plane of existence altogether.
And at that same moment, Xander began to see everything in different hues, as if space was warping, and reality was shattering, while his spirit was racing at unimaginable speeds through a vortex, its destination unknown.
All of creation's voice.
The rumble of impending devastation.
The arrival of the beginning and the arrival of the end.
It was as if he were going on a tour of the definitions and shadows of reality. Bringing to light all of the unknown wonders that the world is unaware of.
He began to see numerous things at once, he saw so many bizarre things, things he couldn't understand, things that seemed logistically impossible, yet here it is... yeah, these things were unknown to him, creatures, monsters, and beings of old, all sleeping in different strata of this infinity.
Casting deeper in the darkness, similar to the lonely embrace of the abyss, that cast out every reason of meaning, rendering all who remain there meaningless.
The only way Xander could describe this vortex was as a bridge... and in order to get to where he needed to go, he had to travel through this dreadful region of perpetual nowhere.
And then he noticed a bright silver light approaching from up ahead, warping reality like some kind of universal sickness.
He was little in comparison to this monstrosity as if Xander was looking at something incompressible and difficult to describe. Much less attempt to comprehend.
Even such intriguing ideas faded when Xander emerged from the silver light of distortion onto a massive auditorium.
Yes, the transformation was as quick as the warping and repositioning... one moment he was going in a vortex bridge, the next he was seated in a massive auditorium.
"Where am I?"
Xander was taken aback by the enormity of the space; the chairs were all crimson, the carpets and floors were black, and a giant screen was in front of him.
The biggest surprise of the day, though, was about to arrive.
"Welcome to my personal singularity, Lord ΩAδ."
Xander looked up, astonished to see the person or creature who had been speaking to him earlier.
It was a huge floating eyeball with a lovely goat-like horn on its head and a vertical mouth on its iris. At the center of its damaged mouth, filled with a row of teeth, was a bright light that shone like the sun.
Xander inquires, glancing at s[he].
"Do I assume this is your true form?"
However, Whisper's response was horrifying in its own right. Although Xander wasn't terrified, he was equally fascinated by s[he] response.
"Not really, I'm much larger than several hundred Andromedas put together, though to be honest, I'm just a low-rank Elder beast in training. I'm only the system administrator for the time being and one on the smaller side at that. Apart from that, I'd like to welcome you to my little auditorium of information, where I do my duties as the system administrator."
These were the Whisper's words, but after Xander accepted them, he proceeded to initiate a discussion with the system, as he put it.
"Well, Whisper, if you don't mind, could you teach me the fundamentals? I need to know what I'm up against so I can figure out how to make my life easier from here on out."
Of course, the system responds with a straightforward, affirmative response.
"Glady."
Whisper stated aloud as s[he] floats towards the enormous screen and begins to describe the foundation of this universe.
After all, this was a critical matter that needed to be addressed for any newcomers to the planet who were unaware of the dangers this location posed.
"First and foremost, let me explain the power system... it's rather simple because it's based on color, and different colors represent different ranks, just a heads up."
"But that's just the first set of ranks, the first phase or sets of phases you must pass through before entering a more advanced realm entirely."
"You see, Lord ΩAδ, the power system in this universe is dependent on one type of energy, and that energy is what we elder existence refer to as Elyptium, a universal energy that allows one to manipulate reality and rules."
"By default, Elyptium has many different names and forms, but scraps the complicated stuff, all you need to know is that Elyptium is the origin of all creation, no it exists long before the great old ones, and the outer Gods as well."
Explain the Whisper, to which Xander replied.
"Is that correct, and could you elaborate further please, this is a rather interesting topic?"
Xander replied with a puzzled look, his eyes wide with interest, and it was clear he was eager to understand this new foreign concept that was Elyptium.
And, as he desired, The Whisper went on to explain further.
"You see, Lord ΩAδ, Elyptium is a universal energy that transcends all laws, all rules, space-time, context, principality, dimensionality, conceptuality, boundaries, possibilities, and impossibilities."
"It goes much deeper than that, but let's start with these few concepts and ideas to give you an idea of what Elyptium is all about."
"It's an energy, intangible raw energy that fills everything in existence; with its power, you can do crazy things like manipulate, logic and plot, fiction and reality."
"Before there was nothing, there was Elyptium; because of the nature of this energy, anything is possible, and the world you have been reincarnated to is a world that understands its minor uses."
"As a result, this place is teeming with reality warpers at the multiversal level, despite the fact that they call it Logica energy rather than Elyptium, Logica is just Elyptium, different universes different names you see."
"And those who can manipulate this mystical energy in this universe are known as specialists; each specialist is unique in that their power is determined by the level at which they can manipulate the power of Logica and the purposes for which they can use it."
"No one has a specific power, but there are things called techniques that you can learn, and even create your own, though there are levels of control, and the power output can get insane, as you progress further into the different realms."
Explained the Whisper, who gave him a brief but in-depth description of what Elyptium is. Only to continue as s[he] floats towards the screen, turning it on and guiding him with imagery.
"Now, please take a look at the screen so that I can explain the power system."
As The Whisper began to talk, Xander looked towards the screen that The Whisper had floated towards, paying close attention to everything that was being shown to him.
"Now, what you will be seeing are the first seven initial power outputs, which signify solely range as its official standards, seeing a person's range of manipulation determine how strong a specialist is."
"Then, and only then, stepping outside the first seven mortal tiers would elevate you to "Demi-God," then "God," and lastly "True God."
"But those ranks are the other realms of power, so for now, I will just explain the mortal rank to you, which is the first realm of power one must break through in order to exceed the other available realms."
Xander was paying close attention, but he had a question.
"In that case, which realm am I currently in?"
The Whisper, on the other hand, was eager to respond to Xander's inquiry, which s[he] quickly followed up with an in-depth description of the first realm's current phases. That Xander himself would have to overcome as his life progressed.
"Well, mi lord, you are currently at the lowest spectrum of the mortal realm, which is the blue realm."
"The... Blue Realm?"
Xander queries, The Whisper began to introduce the other realms, which were branded with different colors, each hue being substantially stronger than the previous ones. Starting with the Blue Realm, which is the weakest.
S[he] accomplished this by manifesting a pyramid with seven tiers. Each layer was assigned a color or a name. The title [Seven Great Mortal Realms] appeared atop the pyramid chart.
Meanwhile, the initial lower kingdoms at the foot of the pyramid were divided into two portions, with the first four layers designated as the [Lower Mortal Realms] and the highest layer designated as the [Highest Mortal Realms].
«Lower Mortal Realms»
❖ 1st Realm: Blue Realm: Blue Realm: [Only inside a strikingly clear line of sight or directly ahead]
❖ 2nd Realm: Red Realm: [Can affect a small village to a huge town]
❖ 3rd Realm: Grey Realm: [Range can extend from a small island to a massively large island]
❖ 4th Realm: Black Realm: [Capable of spanning a small city to a large city]
«Higher Mortal Realm»
❖ 5th Realm: Saint Realm [Capable of scaling whole or multiple mountains with ease]
❖ 6th Realm: Master Realm: [Ability to have a range that can easily scale from a single continent to numerous continents]
❖ 7th: Grand Master Realm: [Any expert with a planetary or star scale power range]
The whisper adds that these were the seven first mortal levels, and [s]he then began to, give a rapid finalization of the matter by saying.
"Great. To be honest, this is simply the tip of the iceberg in terms of power levels that can be attained."
"There are many paths to becoming a specialist, and many simple ways to master the power of Logica, but you, my friend, are unique; your power stems from being a Yandere."
The Whisper, who was looking directly at Xander, announced as she began to smile oddly. Meanwhile, Xander answered by tilting his head sideways.
"... A yandere."
