I waited for a whole minute, but Silvia never made the attack, she just stood there staring at my wolf, dragging this on for longer than necessary. This was pointless.
I lunged forward and got my answer when her wolf reflexively shrank back. Ralph chuckled at her ignorance, she had come wanting to fight him and hadn't made any preparation whatsoever.
Her tactic reeked of desperation. Which was unlike her, something must've happened to cause Silvia to come here with this ridiculous plan.
I shifted back to human form and declared, "Get dressed and come inside, we need to talk." I said and went inside without waiting for a response.
Inside, I got dressed and went downstairs, where Silvia had changed and was waiting for me by the indoor bar, with a black briefcase rested on her laps. I dismissed the rest of my wolves and hers outside so we could talk.
