"Just so you know, the score between us isn't settled, you still owe me for using me back then." Sydney violently reminded me while loading the last of Gina's stuff into her trunk.
"I'm definitely going to settle the score with you on that one of these days, so be prepared." She went on to say, rolling up her sleeves.
Apparently, she had a small attic at the club where Gina would sometimes crash over for the night, a sort of safe space for her. Ideally, it would've been best if she hid in plain sight working at Blade. But, the order given at her pack was Gina's death, she would be in graver danger if she remained in the city.
"There, I've wired you some money to get by with in the meantime, if you need anymore just ask." I announced, shoving my phone into my pocket.
