After my run in with Daniel, I met up with Renold later that afternoon to discuss furthering our plans and how to get me that seat on the council. I knew that it overly ambitious to imagine an Omega as the Grand council head, but being on the council itself would prove so much.
I wasn't just a sickly Omega destined to be married off to some man I've never met for pack politics. I had given up on ever finding my mate, not everyone could be as fortunate as Davien was.
"So little lady, what can I do for you?" Renold asked as the waiter returned with two glasses and a bottle of white wine.
I plastered a smile and neatly tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear, "Actually, I wanted to talk about our plans, about getting me into the grand council. If it's possible, I'd like to commence as soon as possible."
