In the infinite the void lay the bare body of Raizel, adrift and unconscious but his body was wrapped around in crimson flames. It was unknown just how long he had been adrift for, what was the current state of the heavens, are his clan and aunt okay, how long has been gone from the heavens.
Questions like that served no use to someone who wasn't in the state to ask or know such things, but Raizel's seemingly endless drift would soon come to a stop as his search party hand found him
A large hand tore the void as a terrifyingly huge and magnificent ice blue colored dragon came through the void and faded away to reveal Batsheva's humanoid form form, she took a step and ripples spread all across the void.
Seeing Raizel's form before her she rushed to him and tried to touch him but held back as due to the flames around his body, "he must have done this subconsciously as a defense mechanism" she whispered and brought her hand towards his body until she touched the flames.
It burned her but she ignored the her discomfort because she had found a big problem, she carried him in her hands and tore doorway out the void. Sheva instantly appeared in her tower then she brought her lips down to the flames as a strong suction ripped the crimson flames from his body, once she was done devouring the flames she gently placed him down onto her bed and called for Idris.
The Butler was there not a second later and came forward as he saw his young lord "what's wrong with the young lord" he asked.
"Ask that later, I need you to create a barrier around him that will save him from getting erased by this realm" she instructed and Idris asked no other questions but immediately got to doing what he was asked of.
The moment he touched his young lord's body he discovered the reason why he was asked to do this, so he adjusted his gloves and began drawing runes in the air which attached themselves to his master's body.
A right light enveloped Raizel's body for a moment before dying down, only thing that was left were the embedded blood colored runes which coiled around both his arms like a snake.
"How is he losing his divinity and at such an incredibly fast rate too, what happened to him. Is whatever event that occurred the reason why the heavens and the earth in such disarray right now" Idris asked, barely able to maintain his composure for the first time in a long time, worry and fear were on his face, both for his master's life.
Sheva gave no answer to his questions and stared intensely at a particular spot "won't you come out and help your son you bastard, I'm sure you don't want him to fade away now do you, else you wouldn't have interfered in that fight".
Idris turned his head trying to find who she was talking to but sensed nothing but snapped his head back towards Sheva moment she mentioned a fight confirming his thoughts that his young lord had indeed fought someone, someone powerful enough to put him in this state.
A steady and hypnotic low laugh rippled through the void as the being began revealing himself in the room and walked towards the bed where Raizel lay , Idris's eyes sprang wide open from pure surprise and terror as he backed away and unconsciously entered a defensive state
He unleashed the hybrid form of a dragon, his body was covered in light grey armoured dragon scales all covered in black runes and a long swaying tail, two long and slightly curved horns extended from his temple and floating behind him was a blue ring of what looked to be water.
"Wha- what is a being like you doing here" Idris asked but was ignored instead as the man moved his hand to touch Raizel's body which immediately sent Idris's danger senses into overdrive. "I warn you, if you dare try anything the archangel-
"Enough, Idris. I'll explain later" Sheva cut him off and fixed her gaze on her guest "what's the price for fixing his situation" she asked, unbothered to ask the possibility of 'IF' he could fix it, because she knew what sort of being was before right now.
He smiled "nothing, my dear. Cause I won't be stopping it-
*BANG*
Idris's body got suppressed to the ground as a huge pressure flipped and suppressed all the heavens, not even the primordials were spared from this suffocating feeling which seemed to not lessen in the slightest no matter what they tried.
Even Idris himself couldn't believe how badly he had been suppressed by her, in fact he even felt his existence being erased little by little just by the pressure she was releasing and the same could be said for everyone currently under her suppression, but not one single of them could make or even transmit a squeak.
Yet in the face of all this the being looked like he was experiencing nothing but a cool breeze, even though the real focus of her power was all on him directly and what the heavens was experiencing was nothing but a small fraction that leaked out uncontrollably.
"I am really not anywhere near the right state of mind to deal with your teasing, you always have a price, so spill it" Sheva raged.
The being smiled and the similarities shone through even brighter in this moment, the eyes most especially couldn't be mistook. "If only you have any idea just how much I've missed this side of you" then he placed his hand onto Raizel's chest, almost instantly the crimson flames lit up once more around his body and rushed to attack the being.
"Sit down" he whispered and the flames stopped their rampage, slowly receding back into Raizel's body.
Sheva at this moment had stopped the release of her power and everything began going back to it's former once again, Idris who already had two thirds of his body erased began recovering also, even as terrible and frightening as this experience he was completely fine now.
This was also one of the things about being a divine being, they could be tortured and broken in every possible way both mentally and physically, but the moment that ends they snap back to complete sanity, accepting everything that just happened now as one small bump in their endless lives.
Idris adjusted his gloves once again out of habit and stood quietly by the side as he watched the being who was helping his master, although still wary.
His hands passed through Raizel's chest and moments later pulled out the small golden ball of power that was Micheals gift to the boy and the cause of his current condition, inside the ball was a spinning vortex that tried to devour the beings power but he just crushed it and it became golden dust particles.
Then he looked over his sons body and smiled "like father like son, still perfect in every way even while fallen" he mused to himself in an almost proud manner of speaking.
"But Micheal really is vicious, that thing was going to devour his existence itself after it was done devouring his divinity of which unfortunately I have to say only a atom of it is left now".
Sheva's eyes widened a bit "which means right now he's-
"Yes, you are correct. Although very luckily he still gets to keep his immortality and his abilities, or most of them anyways although they will be much weaker than before. But right now he is most definitely flesh and blood, him staying within a place that exists on an much deeper level than conceptual beings with his current condition is pure suicide, if not for those runes protecting him he would have been erased by now"
He stood up and walked towards the window, resting his arms and admiring the outside "but in due time the heavens will begin correcting this error, and the heavens themselves aren't the only threat. Soon enough the news will reach those guys about the event that occurred between he and his former protector, he'll be picked apart so easily by them".
Idris raised a brow in confusion at something in particular the being had said, but he saved his questions for later.
"I'll kill all of them if they dare make a move" Sheva declared and the being smiled "I don't doubt it, but do you think it's possible you will be given this much freedom to disrupt the balance and not pay dearly, not even Wu Kong could achieve this"
Sheva and Idris both clenched their fists "but you can fix it easily, I'm living proof of this so you can't even try denying nor playing around it" .
Idris: *Living proof?*
"True, I can fix this easily. But i-
"You won't, why. What's the price, I could even give myself so why won't you"
The being heaved a defeated sigh and chuckled "you didn't let me finish, although having you back is quite tempting it's not time just yet. It's much better this way that this happened to him, the boy is so green it hurts"..
Sheva raised a brow in confusion "why would this be better, he's vulnerable right now".
"And that's exactly why it's better, the boy was born pretty close to the top but he's never actually grown. I fear if left as he was he wouldn't ever, It would be quite a shame if he reaches the top and remains as green as he is right now, hence why this is the perfect opportunity for him to grow".
"Survival, near death experiences, struggles and finally growth, even I have experienced all this. And as he's my son I know full well he will face all this and come out on top, it's impossible for him not to, so have a little faith in me just this once and let him experience it all".
Sheva was silent for some time "what good will come out of this for you in the end" she asked, truly doubtful he wasn't doing this for some insane self profit.
"If I tell you I do this because i just want what's best for him, would you believe me".
"No".
Her answer was instant and although he expected as such from her, it didn't make the sting any better. "That hurts you know, having so little faith in me-
"Is truly what you deserve" she interjected and he smiled.
"Well, can't deny that really. Ah well, soon enough you will come to see I mean no harm to that child" he was about to leave but turned around "ah right, just a reminder. I left a gift to the boy and set his body to wake up after a thousand years, that's more than enough time for the gift to fully awaken" then he left before Sheva could overwhelm him with a flurry of questions.
Sheva 'tsked' in annoyance and walked to her bed, sitting down besides Raizel's body. She used her senses to peer through every inch of his body and soul but found nothing, knowing it was useless to try finding what he hid from her she gave up.
"Lady Batsheva" Idris called and she turned towards him already knowing what he wanted, she sighed first. Idris did have a right to know and she couldn't deny him any longer, so Sheva truthfully narrated the events that occurred while leaving out anything that had to do with her past regarding 'That' being.
And Idris knew not to push her on that front, but everything else she said only served to shock him further and further. The archangel being the one who put his young lord in this state was the biggest of them all, "won't this mean the archangel is still after our young master" he asked.
Sheva nod in affirmation "but he can't come for him as easily anymore, since that being is currently involved there's nothing Micheal can do as direct conflict between those two is prohibited" she explained.
Idris felt both relieved and uncomfortable by the fact he owed his master's life to a being like that, but he was in no position to complain about the help he got. The archangel had really become an enemy of both he, lady Sheva and most especially his master. That thought scared him more than anything else, he had no choice but to be thankful.
"Where should we leave to, I can't forcefully keep making the young lord stay within the heavens forever" he asked.
"Gaia, she's the neutral zone for all of creation and the one place Micheal nor any angel can touch easily. It's the perfect double shield for us, I just have to pick anyone of her major clones as not all of Gaia is declared a neutral zone".
Then she got up and ordered Idris to bring about 80 dragon clan members, about 25 of them being maids, although Idris was unaware the reason for specific request he didn't question it and left immediately to carry out his orders.
She heaved a deep breath and looked at Raizel's still bare and unconscious form, looking to be lost in thought. "Perhaps I shouldn't chose a clone body but the original first manifestation of Gaia, I wonder how much time has passed there" Sheva whispered under her breath.
Some time later Idris summoned himself back into the room and bowed "pardon my intrusion Lady Sheva, the task has been completed".
"Good, where are they" she inquired.
"At the last floor of your tower" Idris replied and then both of them left, Sheva immediately got to immediately explaining the situation to them. The anger and genuine worry all of them showed made her smile a bit internally, but she assured them that Raizel would be okay.
Then she told them of her plans for the new destination they were heading to, "the entire physical plane would collapse if one if even one of you approached it as you are now, so you're to suppress and seal your existence down to the absolute limit or just somewhere around the level of an unascended demi-god".
"And you're also to craft a physical form which can be seen by a mortals naked eyes, you're not to do so yet of course, Idris will prepare a place possible for you to suppress yourselves without getting erased by the heavens as a side effect" she instructed.
They all nod in unison after hearing her instructions and with this her job over here was done, she was back to her room in an instant. Then she took Raizel's body and stored it in a small dimensional pocket and left for a while to complete another task, after it's completion she suppressed herself to the level of an unascended demi-god which still allowed her more than enough power to pull from the power stored in her ring and crack the dimension to the physical realm.
Sheva joined the rest in the realm Idris created and with the stored power flowing in her ring, she created a domain around them as a loud crack appeared in the space above them which turned into a portal, in a moment the domain was sucked into the portal and they were gone from the heavens....
Meanwhile on Earth it was the year 2155, humanity had made a lot of advancements and space stations larger than most cities had been deployed all over the world while also being made durable enough to mostly survive re-entry into the planet.
The day would be 22nd of April, it would be known as the day which marked the beginning of a new era and also the day humanity came into contact with beings they would come to know as gods, the saviours of humanity after an event that caused the near extinction of the human race.
It was only just a few hours ago before everything went south, every satellite and space station around the world was going haywire along with every electronic on the planet, it was a complete and unexpected blackout with the biggest source of light being the sun for most part of the world.
While the populace at large were mostly whining about the fact none of them had any electricity nor signal on their phones, one worry would be solved and that would be the power being back on for most of the world while signal would still be offline.
The military and leaders of every world power on the planet would now be in for the biggest scare of their lives as they would be made aware of the fact all had lost contact with their greatest allies, which were the satellites and space stations around the world up there in space.
If they could no longer receive signals from it, this most possibly meant it had been damaged by whatever caused the worldwide blackout and this was was the worst possible outcome because of what was about to go down in a couple of hours.
But just moments the source of their worries would be made manifest as then came the literal hell on earth, a strange pulse from out of nowhere would hit the planet and it would force the satellites to make an even faster than scheduled descent down on the planet.
Multiple bright spots would appear in the sky all over the world and to the people down below it would only keep getting brighter....and brighter.....and brighter. Until it was too late for anyone to do anything even after noticing the trail left behind by the 'shooting stars'.
It was a rain of absolute carnage, terror and destruction. There was no preparing for this, cities and nations ruined by falling debris, the biggest tsunamis like never seen before washing over the land and swallowing everything in it's path like a hungry beast.
The terror of fire and water would continue on it's unobstructed path of destruction for three hours straight until there was nothing left to fall and tsunamis died down on their own after a while, all that was left was a hellish landscape of smoke, fire and water followed by a couple explosions every now and then.
And then there were the cries, the cries for help and the cries of sorrow, the cries of agony and the cries of the silenced. Uncountable lives lost, uncountable still to be lost as no help would arrive soon.
In space, 80 cracks had appeared, and from it walked 80 beings who dwarfed the largest planet in earth's solar system by multiple times over, their gazes were on one planet in particular. Then one more portal opened up and from it walked Idris and Sheva, her gaze instantly drawn to the small blue and green little ball before her.
Her eyes had so many mixed emotions looking at it *it really has been a long time* she thought to herself.
"Why is the state of the planet in such ruins" asked Idris whom along with everyone else could very clearly see and hear the commotion happening on earth, his voice was unrestrained by the rules of space.
"Shall I try finding out" volunteered one clan member, Idris turned his head towards the girl who asked. She was extremely beautiful, almost transcendent in how she looked and had curly pure golden hair which reached all the way to her waist length, arched eyebrows matching her hair in color and her pupils were a bright shade of lemon green.
Idris gave a nod without thinking much of it
*Ah yes, if I remember correctly her innate gift allowed her to see and rewrite the world around her in a way most gods nor even I could, even going as far as rewriting the core of her existence which was a set thing for even primordials themselves. It should have been suppressed to something much more diluted but it works, the clan members named it-
«god's eye»
A strange lotus pattern appeared in both her pupils and she slowly began sorting through the past until she reached the root cause of how the destruction on earth came about and then surprisingly she couldn't go back any further.
No, it would be more correct to say she could go back as far as she wanted but for some reason a particular portion of the past was blank, one moment to be exact.
But the past being blocked was not something that surprised her much because it just confirmed another thought of hers, what was surprising was even with terribly diluted her current god's eye was it was quite an immense feat to stop her from seeing through it entirely.
*Interesting*.
Then she shared her findings with both Idris and Sheva who also shared the same thought as her after hearing it all.
"I also sense the presence of Ra's will in that star" she motioned to the sun. "Although it's incredibly tiny, it's most definitely alive also"
Sheva had already deduced what it was, but it was of no threat nor importance to her as it was put there by Ra for a very specific purpose.
*But perhaps this can indeed work in my favour in the long run of things* .
She told everyone of her plans of which they all agreed to in a heartbeat, "adjust your physical size, we'll be entering the planet" Sheva announced, and then they all adjusted themselves to a size much more like the humans on earth and made their grand entrance.
*[Do you want to live]* a voice spoke, all living creatures heard it loud and clear, even the animals and it freaked most people out as they thought they were going crazy.
But then their eyes were opened and they saw it, every last human and animal, even the creepy crawlies. The words of a god were to be understood by every living creature, even if non sentient not sapient, be it the universe nor reality, all would be equal in this moment before a god.
Hence why not a single one of them had to be informed of what exactly they saw before them, nor did they dare think this was an hallucination. To even think of denying the majesty they all beheld was in this moment the greatest possible sin, and so every human and creature answered from the very depths of their soul a resounding "YES".
Thus began the new era of gods and immortals.
