"Perceptive as always," a smile appeared on his lips.

"You left the Aerithor wounded for me to tame," she stated.

Sorcery goes beyond mere spell memorization. It requires internalization, ownership, and a deep understanding of the craft. Merely memorizing spells doesn't guarantee true mastery.

By intentionally leaving the creature wounded, he tested her ability to not only recite spells but also to internalize their essence. If she had walked away without taming it, it would have meant that she lacked that internalization. However, successfully taming it showed her strength and knowledge in performing complex spells.

She narrowed her eyes at him. The Prince's test had been more than a simple challenge; it was an assessment of her true potential. She realized his intentions went beyond mere curiosity; he sought to gauge her capabilities and perhaps even explore the depths of her magic.

It only means one thing.
