"Darn... they wasted my good old time there. Everyone must be…" Alan thought rushing as his rabbit instantly hopped before his tracks.
"Little Will?!" he asked out of the blue.
The rabbit hopping up and down gestured him to follow.
Alan nodded, "Little Will… now that's a good name." he beamed. (For he finally got one after a long time…).
Crowd applauding and bellowing names, tried to draw focus of their preferred players towards them while commentators reviewed the match and put forward their ideas. Back at the pavilion the ground before Alan, held an energetic, lively view. The middleschoolers encircling Feyz and Jules, fortified the two with huge smiles and laughter whereas highschoolers, Nidou and Mir met Lahore's highschoolers and coaches congratulating each other.
Reporters preparing to hear each team's accounts and future aspirations too readied themselves for the closing ceremony. Alan observing the overall view smiled heartily. "I don't think I have any need to go in there." he thought stepping back.
"Alan." instantly Kazuna called.
"Hm?" Alan looked aside.
Standing before him, Kazuna inquired, "Are you alright?"
"Hm, I am fine. No need to worry." Alan replied.
"No need to worry...? I bet it should be the other way around, no need to make others worried." Kazuna exhaled.
"Heh~? Did I make you worry?" Alan teased.
Kazuna twitched his brow, "You seriously get on my nerves sometimes…"
"Hehe…" Alan chuckled patting his arm, "It's alright. I declared my war that I had to at all costs, and encouraged those boys up a little bit. They make a great team together and Feyz knows that. As for Ashura and Kubrah... they are gonna be kicked good time by the future." His gaze instantly turning into a menacing one, Alan grabbed the same side of his collar tight, from where he was pulled by Kubrah.
"Did he say something?" Kazuna asked over Ashura's mention.
Alan scoffed, "He said a lot more than I had expected. As if he had taken the path of a madman. Moreover, that Kubrah. Forget it, I don't want to talk about them. Just thinking about them is making my blood boil!"
Kazuna turning to the ground observed Ashura and Kubrah who conversed with Nidou, Rauf and Haroon.
"You played well, Feyz. Let's hope to face each other again." Helios dabbed his back.
"Yeah, we enjoyed a lot! Even though you faced defeat, I hope you won't keep any hard feelings for us." Cassiel added.
"Next time we play I won't get out at all. So make sure to come up with loads of tricks up your sleeve." Heber winked.
"Maybe we should also play practice matches together, how does that sound?" Xavier proposed.
"Yeah, yeah! Play practice matches together!" Adam agreed tugging Jules and Ryan's shoulder, full of delight.
"I don't think that's a bad idea, let's talk to coach Nidou about and see if we get permission. What do you say, Kenzo, Feyz?" Poseidon glanced at the two.
Kenzo pondering for a moment shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever it is, be it practice matches or tournament ones. This King will win no matter what." he replied confident.
Jules and Feyz though… upon their utterly altered behavior gasped confused and surprised at the same time. Feyz looked at the ground revealing a light beam. "Are you idiots?" he questioned speechless.
"We aren't idiots." Ryan replied slightly offended.
"You may think of us as idiots but we aren't here to make enemies of you that's for sure. So we decided, it's better not to keep any hard feelings against eachother." Ezekiel told, "We didn't had a fight with you in the first place. We were just at odds since you fought Alan."
"Hm, and Alan is quite precious to us you see, that's why we stepped a little bit out of line." Xavier agreed.
"Precious? To us?" Kenzo and Gabriel abruptly revolted.
"Not to them but us." Poseidon peacefully cleared the mix-up, turning to Feyz.
Helios and Ryan exhaled speechless.
"Yeah, even if you don't like us. We don't hate you. We admire your talent instead." Cassiel assured.
Feyz stood at a loss of words. Jules on the contrary turned around wiping his tears.
"Huh?! Are we seriously that bad to make to you cry now?!" Feng shrieked trying to calm him down.
"Besides…" Seraph walked to Feyz. His expression slightly confused he apologized, "I always wanted to say sorry for what I had said at the backstage before. I don't usually get angry that's why…"
Feyz instantly shook his head, "Just stop it… all of you." his voice quavering, the middleschoolers blinked at each other surprised soon smiling.
"Alright, alright, we'll make Lahore's Captain cry this way." Kenzo uttered out loud.
"Who the hell will cry?!" Feyz immediately retorted trying to clear up the misunderstanding.
A united gleeful laughter shared around. Nour, Beruni and Arham with the rest of Lahore's middleschoolers too joined them.
Rauf taking his leave from the conversation, come back to the pavilion seats settling down. Isa too followed.
"Yikes, Isa was pretty angry. He didn't even shook Ashura's hand." Noah whispered.
"He will be. After all, he hates comparison out of everything the most. It's like his past is repeated before his eyes." Elias said.
"Damn, that Ashura making our Isa annoyed." Orion gritted vexed, "I feel like bashing his head in a nearby wall this very moment!"
"You don't even say it." Nagi entered rolling his eyes.
"Was I talking to you hun?" Orion retorted blatant.
The two throwing daggers at each other. The rest looked away apathetic.
"Kill each other or whatsoever now. Yawn~ I just want to go back home…" Senri rubbed his eyes tired.
"I know, just wait for a while, we'll head back as soon as it ends." Zachariah ruffled his hairs.
Alan grinning amused sat beside Rauf. "What is it brother? Not used to all these celebrity floodlights?" he teased.
Rauf exhaled wordless.
"Tch." Alan clicked his tongue, "You are no fun…"
"Compared to the last time, their progress wasn't bad..." Rauf interrupted.
Alan listened attentive.
"However, they still have a long way to go. Teams are going to be tougher from now on and they'll have to cope with the highschoolers too who'll be joining them from matches' onwards." he added.
"Haiz~" Alan sighed, "Day and night, left and right, even under the limelight. You are still thinking about this? I am seriously surprised on how you can think so much?!"
Rauf remained silent.
"I know it is a huge responsibility Rauf but don't go too hard on yourself. Try and relax a little bit too." Alan advised.
"There's no time for that." Rauf debated, "The world outside won't wait for us to complete our respite. One wrong move and everything is over. Don't take anything for granted."
Alan pondering over his words instead, nodded his head, "Yes, boss…"
"Hehe…" Isa chuckled from above.
Alan at a loss of words kept his hand on his eyes.
"Thank you so much for today. We really enjoyed playing against you." Nour shook Gabriel's hand.
Adam interested in shaking his hand as well, gave it to Nour who chuckled shaking it too, amused over his innocence.
Gabriel, Kenzo and Seraph looked away in disbelief.
"Haha, he shook my hand as well!" Adam twirled around shaking Ryan vigorously.
"We too had a great time. Best of luck for your next matches." Cassiel invigorated.
Nour nodded.
"But frankly asking, what made you change your minds about us, you know the sudden change of behavior…?" Heber inquired curious, patting Beruni's shoulder.
Beruni smiled, "Just like you said before; we also aren't here to make enemies of you. It's pointless to fight. We might as well broaden our horizons and make friends instead. As for what changed our mind…" he glanced at Alan settled on the pavillion beside the higschoolers, sharing gleeful laughter. A soft smile escaped his lips as he murmured, "You have a wonderful senior…"
"Huh? I couldn't quite get that. Can you repeat?" Heber pardoned.
"Tch, like I said take care of what is precious to you, idiot." Beruni flicked his forehead.
"Ouch! Take care of what's precious to us…? We already do that." Heber replied puffing his cheeks.
Adam instantly tracing Alan who chatted with Rauf, Isa and Zach, gasped in delight, "Alan!" "We didn't even meet him." he turned to the middleschoolers instantly rushing away.
Xavier smiled following him alongside Azazel, Heber, Cassiel and Poseidon. "Now that I think about it, it did felt as if something was missing." Seraph realized.
"Alan!!" Adam waved loudly
. Alan conscious, looked ahead standing up, "Yes?!"
And GLOMP!! Adam went embracing Alan into a tight hug.
"Haha!! We won, Alan! We really won!!" Adam exclaimed delighted.
"Tch, let him go first, you brat. He might just suffocate." Azazel anxiously slapped his arm that squeezed Alan.
"Oh…" instantly realizing Adam left. "I am sorry, I was just so excited! You are so small, I didn't even realize I squeezed you that tight!" he chuckled blissfully radiant.
Kazuna and Isa exhaled caringly.
"So bright…" for a moment Alan thought, regaining composure from the sudden startle and beams of joy Adam emitted, he closed his eyes agreeing, "I know, I know. You all were just the best. Dazzling like stars." he exaggerated positively.
Helios and Seraph chuckled, "Thank you."
"Hehe… I know that." Adam said, "Right! Did you saw how I warned Kenzo to grab that catch? Who knew, Pinnacle of Perfection would have that certain side to it as well, concealing the batsman's lower body and bat completely!"
"My run out was much more impressive though. Right on the stumps and Bang!!" Ezekiel portrayed proud.
"Xavier's and Kenzo's catch was great as well." Helios added.
"But Lahore's players mostly had Doors. We weren't much aware on them. So it took us a little while to study and adjust against them." Seraph mentioned.
"Doors are of different varieties. They are usually created over the entire person's precisions and habits so it is quite hard to discover them because everyone is distinctive. I can ask Nagi to tell you about main ones from them so you won't get confused next time." Alan said.
"Hm, thank you." Xavier ruffled his hairs. "And we need more information about those pairing abilities. Even if we don't have them, some middleschoolers have already achieved them." Kenzo told.
"Isa." Alan turned around.
"Hm. I'll do that." Isa replied.
"Summing it all up, Poseidon's today's star. I am so proud of him." Cassiel said.
Alan realizing asked, "Yeah, where is he?"
"With the reporters, Gabriel also went with him." Ezekiel replied
