Chapter 249 - (Part 5)

Islamabad's middleschoolers wondered standing on the side.

"Why is our Captain's lady so nice to him?" Venus twitched his brow.

"She was saved by him once that's why I guess?" Sena recalled.

"This is too much sympathy for one time saving." Amir uttered doubtful.

Suddenly the others behind them gasped. "Don't tell me our captain will be swindled?!" one of them uttered.

"What?!" Venus uttered confused.

"She is already engaged to him." Sena immediately cracked the brewing misunderstanding.

"But still, I don't like Alan's guts." Emaad added.

"Who are we to doubt? They all look so close." another one debated at all the highschoolers.

In the end they sighed.

"You don't understand, Sena. I don't see any peaceful vibe emitting from that Alan." stated the other three cynical.

Venus scratched his hairs confused while Sena at a loss of words exhaled.

"So, ready to take our side Maria?" Alan asked hopefully.

"No way." Maria rejected blatantly.

The highschoolers faces who surrounded her immediately sank. Arrows piecing their hearts. "Why?" Aigou asked.

The middleschoolers looked at them amused. "Hehe, serves them right!" Kenzo snickered. Gabriel closed his eyes contented as well.

Maria glancing at Romeo beside her, gently clasped his hand. "I already have a side to support. I am sorry I can't take your side." she rejected kindly.

"Oh I see…" Alan pretended hurt beside Noah.

"However, once you are up against others. I won't mind taking yours. I earnestly pray that you all achieve victory too." Maria encouraged sincerely. Blinded by her words the highschoolers looked away.

"She is literally an angel." Ren said.

"Yeah, my eyes are burning thanks to the background lights." Orion agreed.

"Thank you, Maria." Alan stood up.

"Come to me when you have time. I have a lots to talk to you about." Maria said. "And look…!" she immediately realized showing him her ring.

A silver ring resting on her ring finger glinted. Upon closer look, in a cursive handwriting Romeo read over it.

"Wow~ lucky you." Alan teased, as Maria chuckled blushing lightly. "Don't worry. I will certainly visit you." he assured.

"Do I have to watch over your match or you'll do it instead?" Rauf asked Romeo.

Romeo grinned, "I'll do it on my own, World king. You don't need to worry. And, no need to underestimate us as well." he warned at the end. Rauf smirked as the two tapped their fists together.

"Wait for the good news instead." Rovan waved.

"Bye- bye." Adam shook Maria's hand who nodded beaming.

"Bye-bye. It was nice meeting you all. I hope our juniors get along with you all too." she glanced at Sena and Venus.

Kenzo rolled his eyes.

"Hm, we sure do get along." Xavier smiled.

"And, best of luck for today, Brother Romeo." Feng encouraged.

"Haha, thank you." Romeo replied.

"And do take care of yourself." Poseidon advised Maria.

"Hm. I will. Thank you for worrying." Maria replied.

"Why do I have a feeling they like Romeo and the rest more than us?" Aaron asked feeling awkward.

"I am quite envious though." Elias uttered.

"I feel as if some kind of a failure." Noah said.

"Yeah, failure as a senior…" Ren added depressed.

Zach, Rauf, Isa, Evan and Kazuna looked at each other speechless.

All of them walking out of the stadium. The middleschoolers walked together sightseeing. "I wanted to watch the match though~" Adam cried. "But, Lady Maria was nice." he instantly gleamed.

"Yeah, she was kind, right Azazel?" Heber looked at him.

Azazel who was lost in his thoughts wondered.

"Hello~ earth to Azazel~!" Feng called in his ear as he flinched. "No I don't like her!" he uttered out of the blue.

All of them blinked confused .

"Like who?" Kenzo asked.

Suddenly Azazel's face flushed red.

"Wha…!" Adam and Ryan uttered baffled.

"Don't tell me… you like her?" Helios asked as Azazel shook his head rejecting. His ears still red.

"She is already booked." Alan went past them stating a warning.

Kenzo annoyed clicked his tongue.

"Don't tell me girls like her are you type Aza~?" Heber tugged his shoulder who shook his head rejecting, his face a mess.

"Haha!" Feng and Xavier laughed while Gabriel rolled his eyes speechless.

Kenzo smirking instead pulled Azazel closer, "Alright! This king will now find a girl just like her for you Azazel Minhas that is set!"

Azazel unable to take it in, the huge amount of embarrassment ran away like a runaway bride.

"Haha!" the twelve of them grabbed their stomachs laughing. "Oh dear…" Seraph wiped his tears.

"I hadn't thought something like this to happen." Ezekiel coughed.

"That is life. But to think he would like someone before me, this king feels left behind." Kenzo sulked.

"Don't even talk about yourself." Helios stated blatant as the rest ignored.

Islamabad United heading for the ground with Karachi Kings heading back to their lodging, pushed each other forward with silent support. Upon reaching their lodging, the highschoolers hopped off in a rush.

"Kazuna go ask coach Seles if it's time for meeting." Elias told.

"Aigou and Orion go and check out for our gear management. I suppose Coach Pedro is in charge, make sure to ask him for every participant's gear to be ready for tomorrow." Isa said next.

"Yes!" the two saluted, prompting into action.

"Nagi, is this information complete?" Rauf inquired.

"Yup it is." Nagi replied.

The middleschoolers looked left and right tracing their frenzy. "Wow… they sure are pumped." Adam said.

"Of course, though it should be you all in their places." Senri interrupted.

"All of you…" Evan called. The middleschoolers turned around. "Get ready for the meeting in the lounge, ASAP!"

"Okay." Seraph replied.

"Now I am starting to feel tense." Feng gulped.

"Don't be." Helios supported, "We are going to rock tomorrow!"

All of them getting ready immediately headed to the meeting room.

The huge LED screen displaying the current match between Islamabad and Quetta. Alan, Rauf and Haruf watched silent. "Into the gaps and here it goes again! Another boundary claimed! Are they middleschoolers?! Are they beginners?! No way! Islamabad is high off the mark from the beginning of the PSL!!" commentary went on with wild cheers as Islamabad's batting pair claimed a fifty each in the first innings.

"Haha, don't judge a book by his cover~ don't judge Romeo with his smile, he is a devil in disguise~" Alan chanted cautious.

Rauf narrowed his gaze serious.

"They are quite good despite being middleschoolers. To think Quetta would be cornered like this from the match's start?" Haruf added.

"Their current batsman Asim and Basid who are on third and fourth position on the batting line have both scored half century. All opening batsman from Islamabad are highly trained from all aspects. Their performance shows no vital flaws." Evan observed.

"So what?" Nidou interrupted, "Even if they crush Quetta gladiators today, our freaks are still on a higher level, this is nothing." he stated confident.

Alan grinned, "Ours? Ours are Kings! Don't even compare." he declared.

Elias patting Rauf's shoulder assured, "Boss~ tomorrow this entire stadium will forget today's match."

"Certainly." Isa added.

Rauf stared the screen stern.

Soon the middleschoolers joined, taking their seats. "Alright." Elias stood up. "Yesterday player information was discussed with you all right?" he asked.

"Yeah." Ryan and Feng replied.

"Today~ I'll tell you some secrets, some horrors, some tricks and quite real tasks for tomorrow to become yours." Elias declared.

Helios smirked, "Heh~ hurry up then, what are you waiting for?"

Seles looked at them wordless, "What a weird atmosphere..."

"As for your victory, I'll help you on that once I dream this night." Elias added.

The thirteen of them glanced at each other confused.

The meeting going for an hour, the middleschoolers finally came out slightly tired. "Let's go for practice shall we Sera, Sera? I am bored." Adam asked.

"Yeah, let's go." Seraph ruffled his hairs.

"Head Coach Nidou told us to go the ground. Coach Pedro will hand us our gears there." Xavier informed.

"Let's go." Gabriel headed out.

"But to think Senior Elias knows this much? I am surprised. I thought Senior Nagi was the genius type." Poseidon said.

"Senior Nagi is a negotiator type while Senior Elias is a strategist. Maybe that's the difference?" Ezekiel assumed.

"Hm… I wonder." Poseidon whispered.

Running to the ground they witnessed the pitch. Alan standing on the batting line panted while Kazuna bowled once again. A Yorker aimed at mid-wicket, Alan immediately stopped it with a dot return.

"Trying to confuse me little Kazu, Kazu? First Spectrum strike and now a Yorker?" he asked.

"Who knows? Make sure you stay focused, your concentration is a mess. Take everything out of your mind and play. Or else, don't blame me if I take you wicket." Kazuna warned going back.

Alan snickered, "You little…" Tapping his bat again, he looked up.

Kazuna rushed to the balling crease. His grip on the ball wrist type, he spun his ball before leaving it, "10 balls strike!"

The ball immediately dividing into a mirage of ten balls aimed Alan. Alan stunned whispered, "Oh dear~ oh dear~ there is no such word in your dictionary as going easy even on your partner…"

"Of course, don't think I'll go easy on you and don't you dare use any skills!" Kazuna warned.
