Chapter 245 - Golden Age 21: ‘Red, Blue and Golden Lions out of their Terrains!! PSL 2nd Match!! Karachi Kings VS Lahore Qalandars (Part I)!!’ (Part 1)

Clock tower of Islamabad striking 5 of evening. A group of exquisitely appealing boys stepped out of the coach. Their red, golden and blue uniforms glinting under the welcoming yet, about to set sun. Caps, Gears, sunglasses, head bands and wristbands along with golden and silver numbered badges ornamenting the boys. They grinned incessantly. Standing before the huge cricket stadium they glanced at each other nodding.

Their surroundings on the contrary, were in a state of frenzy. Long lanes of cricket loving fans cheered and screamed before the entrance gates just to barge inside the stadium. Raising flags and rooting for their teams, voices echoed.

'LONG LIVE ISLAMABAD UNITED!' 'ROCK THE STADIUM KARACHI KINGS!' 'LAHORE! GO SCORE!'

Honking of car horns, gusting of trumpets, banging of drums, dance of enthusiasts and voices of singing heard from inside the stadium.

"Oh my dear god…" Feng stared around flabbergasted.

"Is this PSL's sight?!" Azazel and Heber questioned bewildered.

"How nostalgic right Isa?" Alan reminisced.

"Hm." Isa agreed.

"Are we seriously going to play before all of them?!" Ezekiel shrieked sweating.

"Of course." Helios kept his composure.

"Seriously…?" Adam gulped.

"Good thing you didn't have your first match. Or else, your sights would have been beholding." Orion rolled his eyes.

Tracing the groups arrival the crowd cheered, "KARACHI KINGS! KARACHI KINGS! KARACHI KINGS!'"

"Yikes! That's bad. What do we do now?" Aigou looked at Rauf confused.

"Haha, they look as if they'll gobble us up." Seraph assumed ironically.

"Yup, they'll literally gobble you down." entered another voice from behind.

Seraph immediately flinched as Senri turned around, "Rovan?"

Romeo smiling before Rauf gestured to come inside, "Hurry up and come inside. You are the only ones left to be escorted."

"Were we late?" Haruf asked concerned.

"Nope, right on time however the last one." Rovan replied, "Rest of the teams have already arrived and settled down."

All of them making their way in. Not that anything would change though… the sight just got outrageously crazy!

The entire stadium full with not a single seat left empty! All flags including Pakistan's were raised up high at the special seats area. The grassy green ground with its pitch polished and ready to invite some action waited for the upcoming match. A stage resting in the center of the ground.

The middleschoolers stunned gulped. "This is…" Xavier stuttered at a loss of words.

The freshmen and sophomores on the contrary stared with their eyes popped and mouths wide. The highschoolers chuckled amused.

"I am dead." Feng stated blatant.

"Outside was one thing but this?" Ezekiel whispered speechless.

"Never once… never once did we play before this much crowd." Poseidon felt shudders crawling down his spine.

Kenzo too stared clenching his fists tight.

"This is just the PSL. The World cup will have twice more waiting for you." Rauf told following Romeo to their reserved seats.

"It's even making me anxious…" Gabriel thought gulping.

Rovan glancing at Alan who enjoyed the sight grinned. "Have I said it before that your uniform looks perfectly fine on you? You look quite gallant in it." he mentioned.

Alan smiling agreed. "Yeah, my hairs match the overall outfit. Even Feng, Seraph, Heber, Kazuna, Elias and Adam praised me this morning."

"I did too!" Aigou added.

Instantly tracing a good seat Alan uttered, "I'll stay here."

"Hm?" Rauf turned around.

"Brother, you go with Romeo. The view's nice from here. I'll take this place."

"Can you not cause trouble for once?" Kazuna asked annoyed.

Rauf ignoring them walked away. "If you are so troubled then come along with me." Alan invited instead.

Kazuna clicked his tongue, "No thank you."

"Take care. And call us if you get lost." Senri waved.

The middleschoolers remembering his weakness chuckled. Alan twitching his brow nodded, "Yeah, I will…"

Now how embarrassing was that!

Kenzo shaking his head amused too left.

Settling down, Alan stared at the ground silent. Suddenly a woman cheered behind, "WOOHOO~ HELLO ISLAMABAD!!"

Alan jolted glancing behind. "Oh my dear PSL and lovely Islamabad United I am here to cheer for you WOOHOO~! So no matter what don't lose!"

The woman in her mid-twenties punched her fist to the sky enthusiastically.

Islamabad's flag painted on her right cheek with black hairs coming down her shoulder and mahogany eyes. A camera hung on her neck with a diary and a pen in her hand. She twirled around as if in love.

"Reporters…?" Alan thought alerted, "I better not associate myself in any way…" he raised his guard looking ahead.

"Quit it Erum, you look like a crazy woman who just broke out of jail." insulted a middle aged man right on her face scratching his hairs. Wearing a light black trouser and shirt he yawned with a journal in his hands. A pen resting in his wavy brown hairs. His droopy grey eyes showed no particular interest.

"Hah? How cruel of you Chief Zain! As stunning of a beauty I am even the king of world will adore me. How could you call me a crazy woman?" "Moreover, everyone is doing the same here so why am I the crazy one only?!" she asked vexed.

"Augh~ just keep it down a little. Tch, why did the higher-ups had to assign you to me out of every rookie? Thanks to you I am going to give them a blank journal back to post the article." Zain rolled his eyes exhausted.

"Excuse me? You are just jealous because I am taking Islamabad's side you Karachi freak!" Erum smirked with an Hmph!

"Let me tell you, my Romeo is going to win at all costs. Islamabad will take this year's trophy too! Three consecutive victories!" The two bickering like kids.

"My Romeo…?" Alan thought bothered for a second.

"Tch, crazy little…" Zain spoke however.

"Heh~?" Alan interrupted turning around amused, "You sure have high anticipations."

Zain raised his brow up keenly at him while Erum stared.

"That jersey… and hair?" Zain pondered.

"You are from Karachi Kings right?" Erum asked.

"What else do you think? I am indeed a Karachi freak." Alan fired back same words she used before over his usual haughty smirk. Erum realizing her remarks from before looked away reflecting.

"Dear reporters…" Alan stood up looking at Erum, "Mostly, young lady. First of all let me give you a kind advise to not to think about Romeo. He is already booked." he warned out of the blue.

Hearing him Zain immediately busted chuckling while Erum twitched her brow, "Huh?"

"Yeah, he is Maria's Romeo not yours. I won't let you break them apart." Alan warned blatant.

Zain laughed even louder, "Haha!!"

"What's there to laugh about senior?" Erum turned to him embarrassed.

"As for taking Islamabad's side Peshawar's or whichever city. Let me clear one thing that this year only Karachi Kings are going to win. After all King Rauf and his army is back!" Alan claimed ardently.

Zain's laughter immediately seizing, he remembered, "Rauf hun…"

"Heh, over confident aren't you? You brat?" Erum smirked.

"Over confident and brat?" Alan raised his head proud, "It's a declaration not a jest!" "Moreover, I am a 1st year highschooler, Alan Rex Lorenzo from Karachi Kings on his journey to become King of Kings not a brat." he corrected.

Zain gasped wide eyed.

"I bet you have forgotten us young lady. Well no worries, not only will I make you remember but also make sure that you take our side too, so stay tuned~" Alan waved walking away.

"Tch that little…" Erum clenched her fists annoyed, "He is annoying for a first year! I will never leave Islamabad United and take your side!"

"It's him…" Zain interrupted.

"Huh? Who?" she asked.

"No wonder his hairs seemed familiar. Remember the rookie who participated in the PSL two years ago only in Lahore Qalandars match? Despite winning that game, Lahore Qalandars couldn't achieve a single victory after that. Later eliminated from the entire match. It's that boy… the one who sent Ashura Taisha and Kubrah back to the pavilion." Zain told.

"A mysterious player who can't play due to his illness. A child who has won countless of medals and trophies in interstates T-20 competitions around the world. A star who can't reach the sky despite shining the brightest. Nidou Rex Lorenzo's only son Alan Rex Lorenzo." he stated, "Nobody has complete information on him up until now and he is said to be quite mysterious; not accepting even a single interview."

Erum gulped baffled pointing at Alan's back, "The Legendary star Nidou Rex Lorenzo's son?! That's him?! Oh my dear god…"

Zain smirked, "Finally something fun to research over this time."

Alan shaking his head sighed, "I literally did it... I thought I wasn't associating myself in any way?" he asked himself in disbelief.

The little rabbit peeking out of his jacket looked around hiding inside once again. "BOOM!" Suddenly fireworks began to spark in the sky one by one. He turned around.

The crowd elated cheered, "WOOHOO!! PSL!! PSL!! PSL!! PSL!!" Huge LED screens set around the stadium flickered open revealing the stage's sight below.

On the stage a familiar looking figure pointed his finger towards the crowd. "Are you ready cricket lovers?!!" he asked in his mic. His voice resounding throughout the arena.

"LEON HERVE! LEON HERVE!! AARON! WE LOVE YOU!" the crowd cheered next.

"Look! It's senior Aaron!" Adam pointed overjoyed.

"Wow… he looks like a whole different person to me." Azazel gasped.

Aaron's golden hairs spiked up with attire sparkling golden and red like an idol's he stood on the stage like a gallant prince. .
