The boys travelling on a coach next, stopped before a big base. 'PCB (Pakistan Cricket Base U-18) of Pakistan, Punjab and KPK Province, Islamabad.' written on its huge entrance gate.
The middle schoolers stared amazed. "So huge!!" Adam gazed with stars in his eyes.
"It's like we are staring at our own Karachi's base entrance." Feng added.
"Hurry up inside. You will first be registered here for participating in the PSL. From the central headquarters your registrations were accepted already so this will be the last process you'll have to go through since, PSL is organized in Islamabad this time." Pedro explained.
The boys following inside explored around. "Is this where Islamabad Untied train?" Poseidon asked.
"Nope, their base is behind the registration base. Unlike ours, it is relatively easier for them to get registered." Elias clarified.
"Can you see those domes there?" Kazuna pointed over huge domes ahead of them. "They are known as inviting centers. All new
"I see." Xavier noted.
"So will we be able to meet them?" Ryan asked curious.
"Yeah, will they come here?" Adam added.
"Who knows, maybe?" Aigou replied unsure.
"But I bet other teams would come here regardless since, it's the one and only day for final registering." Nagi informed.
Making way to the headquarters the boys one by one registered themselves along with the coaches. (Which took a while…) Finally done, the boys settled in the waiting room drained.
"What the hell…" Feng uttered sinking low. Unbuttoning his cuffs and coat he sat beside the others exhausted.
"Haha, this happens at the time of registering. Don't worry, we are already through." Elias dabbed his back.
Nidou soon came out of the office with a large file in his hands, "All done. These files are for you all now, players, teams, match schedules, everything is present inside. So take a good look at it." he handed it to Rauf. Evan and Haruf too peeked a glance, beside him.
"Your uniforms will be provided to you tonight, so don't worry about that as well." Pedro added.
"As for our next and final destination, we are heading to our
The middle schoolers sighed. "I am darn tired of coaches and planes and even accommodations now." Heber complained.
"Moreover, we didn't saw anyone here. Did they already register?" Azazel asked unconvinced.
"Maybe?" Seraph guessed. The boys looking at each other followed out.
"Feng my boy, pull me up…" Kenzo gave his arm as Feng grasped it pulling him up.
"What's wrong your highness? You keep acting like a mummy ever since you returned from home? Are you feeling alright?" he asked tugging his shoulder.
Kenzo glancing at him and the rest of the middleschoolers who too looked at him concerned exhaled. "I am bored to death." he uttered, "Nothing excites this king right now. Making me bored instead. I want smack some boundaries already!"
"Pfft, Haha. So that's what it was. I was worried for no reason at all." Seraph laughed patting his back.
"This 'King' was that bored." Helios repeated smiling.
Instantly realizing Adam asked, "Where's Alan? I don't see him anywhere?"
The highschoolers looking around too wondered. "Perhaps he's taking a tour around the base? Wasn't he registered first? He must be roaming around somewhere….?" Noah recalled.
All of a sudden, a group of 25 boys walked past them. Wearing purple jerseys with embroidery of gold on their collars and sleeves. Golden badges hung on their collars, each glittering with a unique number. Behind their backs, on their jerseys, a slogan read 'Quetta Gladiators'. Gears hanging on their shoulders which emitted a striking bold aura. They passed them one by one. Their glances cold and serious. The middleschoolers too looked back stern.
"Quetta Gladiators…" Cassiel and Nagi whispered together.
Rauf closing his file exhaled. Stopping before him was a tall built boy. His hairs dark brown with a grin rivaling a fox. He glanced with his cunning purple gaze, "Long time no see… Rauf Victor Gondior. How many years has it been?"
Rauf looked up a smirk escaping his lips, "Not more than a mere two years, Akbar Daulah."
His voice menacing. "Haha!" Akbar chortled, "Right… no more than a mere two years. And, here we are again." His gaze catching Isa and the middle schoolers next.
"Looks like you all are back on your feet. For I thought I'd be seeing Haris this year too." added another one pushing his glasses up and revealing a pair of sky blue eyes. His hairs gray half tied and half unfastened.
"Too bad we didn't meet your expectations though, Ezra." Elias replied with a sly look. A fight crackling amidst each other.
"Hey, Captain, captain!" Ezekiel called Helios in a light whisper, patting his shoulder ceaselessly. Helios who looked at Rauf glanced behind, "Hm?"
"Look, look, that boy is continuously glaring at you. Neither left nor right, it's as if his gaze is just glued on you!" Ezekiel told.
Helios looked up, to find a golden haired boy with grey eyes staring at him ceaselessly.
"Heli… did you offend him in some way or somewhere?" Poseidon murmured.
"Yeah, he's shooting daggers here." Kenzo concurred.
"True." Xavier added.
Helios who had no idea of what to do or say simply smiled. The boy squinting his gaze made his way forward standing before him giving his hand. Helios blinked confused. "I am Sirin Almas from Quetta Gladiators leading the middle schoolers this year. I look forward to having a good match with you in the PSL."
Helios glancing at his comrades left and right shook his hand, "I am Hellos Zadeh. I look forward playing against you as well though I am not the leader yet, a vice leader instead."
"That doesn't matter… your aura is different from the rest." added another one coming forward. His hairs also golden and styled the same as Sirin. His eyes grey nonetheless, emitted a different light.
"Pleased to make your acquaintance, I am Alexander Almas. We look forward to facing you all."
"Twins…" Feng blinked stunned.
"Real twins!" Adam added with a mirthful twinkle in his eyes.
"Hm." Helios nodded. "It's as if… they just read me from a single glance." he thought wary taking his hand away.
"Heh~ your middleschoolers sure are cute." Akbar remarked amused.
"And yours are
"Well, all things aside. You know this year's PSL is not a walk in the park right Rauf?" Akbar turned to Rauf seriously, "The way Mumbai Indians defeated CSK and how they are planning to claim a Hat-trick of T-20 World cups which should be stopped no matter what." "I think you and your team better keep your guard up and if you are thinking of passing this hurdle like blowing a whistle, then you'd better watch out as well." he warned.
Kenzo rolled his eyes, "Blowing a whistle? And us? Aren't you underestimating us a little too much? There's no difference between you and them." he pointed at Akbar and Rauf next.
"Yeah, they won't even play. So what's the point of declaring a war against them?" Azazel exhaled.
Hearing him, all of them instantly went silent while the highschoolers grinned. "Won't be playing?" Ezra questioned irritated.
"Yup, this little step is meant for them. Ours… is the world cup ahead." Nagi smirked determined.
"But don't worry, we'll meet you time by time if needed in any matches." Aigou showed a thumbs up. As if mocked just by tiny sentences, Akbar and the rest clenched their fists grave.
"Pfft!! Haha!!" another voice interrupted laughing loudly, "As rowdy as ever aren't you hun. Karachi kings?" Rauf looked ahead. Approaching with another group, that wore Yellow and black jerseys imprinted with the slogan 'Peshawar Zalmi ' over it. They stood before the two teams. "And as haughty as ever aren't you Nagi Srour?"
Nagi tracing the over enthusiastic male's sight looked away rolling his eyes, "And there he is…" he grumbled.
Orion glanced at him silent.
"What is it? Too shocked to see this tycoon's sight?" he asked arrogantly. His eyes red with his long peach hairs travelling down his shoulders. Behind him another boy stepped out, "Not only Nagi. All of you are as arrogant as two years ago." His side parted Azure blue hairs assisted with a side braid he stared with his green eyes stern.
"Heh~ isn't this Suleiman and Xian Zhangli? You all are also here after a year?" Akbar realized.
The middleschoolers who were confused and trying to keep their presence at the same time stayed silent. "Aren't they way too many?" Feng asked suffocated.
"Middleschoolers plus highschoolers are surely going to be many." Xavier replied.
"And all of them are after Rauf…" Ryan added.
"Exactly. This is how much of a 'villian' he is." Heber remarked blatant.
"I wonder where Alan is though. Why isn't he here when things are getting better?" Cassiel looked around concerned, "I bet all of them know him too."
The three captains of three different bases Rauf, Akbar and Suleiman stood before each other glaring like wild lion's radiating a dangerous aura.
"Yikes! It's as if they'll eat each other." Noah hid behind Kazuna who closed his eyes uninterested, "Whatever…"
