"Hey! What are you…?" Noah called however, sighed at the end.
"It's useless stopping them. Who knew, you would still be fighting each other when PSL are about commence three days later?" Amir replied in disbelief.
"It's not like we wanted to fight them." Kazuna mumbled.
"Yeah, we know about you guys like the back of our hands. There's no need explain." Cyrus added unimpressed.
Helios tracing the approaching figures looked at Kenzo, "Are they coming here?"
"What?! But why?" Feng asked.
"Who knows?" Xavier wondered.
"Just tell me one thing. Do we have to wear helmets?" Ryan asked blatant.
"Pfft! Haha!" The middleschoolers stared to laugh.
"Little prince, people are heading your way not
Seles too chortled shaking his head.
"I don't trust them in the least. They might prove to be even more damaging than wrecking balls," Adam rolled his eyes, his skepticism evident.
"Who? Us?" entered another voice.
Adam flinching turned around to find Daniel waving at him. As if seen a ghost he shrieked sprining towards Seraph, "WAAH!! Ghosts Sera, Sera!"
"So quick!" Feng gulped at Daniel, "When did he even sit here?!"
"Haha! Don't scare them Danny, we are here to make friends." Diego laughed from the other side.
Feng flinching pivoted to his left to find Diego sitting behind him with his leg atop of another.
"Nice to meet you all! My name's Maaz!" Maaz introduced himself shaking Helios's hand as he blinked glancing at Poseidon who chuckled wordless.
"Hi! Coach Seles~" Ryo waved.
Seles waved back lovingly, "Welcome back."
Kenzo clicked his tongue. "You know, all that anger might take you to a hospital as a blood pressure patient at the age of 15 I guess…?" Amir teased.
Annoyed as hell, Kenzo stood up from his place.
"Indeed, you should learn from him. What's your name?" Ibrahim concurred crouching before Xavier and beaming like an angel.
Xavier glancing at Ryan from the corner of eye smiled awkwardly.
"Hey Cyrus, this boy's hair color is just yours." Luo Wang pointed at Seraph behind whom Adam glared.
Cyrus exhaled, "They are brighter than mine not the same."
"Huh? Not that it makes a difference though…" Lou Wang studied Seraph from four different corners.
Seraph who was unable to utter a single word stood awkwardly amid a senseless conversation.
"So are you always this stiff? No wonder you depict vice boss Evandor's vibe." Israfil teased Gabriel who in turn clenched his fists stopping himself from blasting his face.
In a situation reminiscent of being trapped in a convoluted maze with no means to confront and break free, (and not even left with a choice to hit them and flee) the middle schoolers had no choice but to go along with their foolish antics.
"Come on. Let's go!" Diego pulled Feng's arm pulling him inside the ground. "What the?! We just came from there!" Feng shrieked.
"Oh come on~ all you think about if fighting and playing! Let's have fun. Don't worry, we are here now. Nobody is going to say anything. Not even Rauf." Ali assured winking, tugging Ryan too.
"Yup, follow me, bright sun. I don't want to drag you." Cyrus referred to Seraph who looked at Adam confused.
Ibrahim taking Xavier and Helios being pulled by Maaz. The middle schoolers baffled went inside the ground once again.
"Oh god, my head's spinning." Cassiel complained.
"And here I thought we were playing a life and death match for some reason." Aryan recalled wearily.
"My head isn't even taking my side anymore…" Azazel spun weirdly.
"Ah, Look! Captain Haris is even pulling both your friends on the pitch." Lou Wang pointed.
Kenzo staring at Ezekiel and Heber who were continuously being teased and pulled was now not even surprised, shocked or annoyed any more instead he simply smacked his own forehead groaning admitting defeat!
(Well what can we say, these other highschoolers were way too hyperactive...)
Middle schoolers and highschoolers all gathered in the ground together. Nidou snickered at their sight, "Those rascals."
Mir exhaled tired (Not physically but mentally). Drake and Kortes alongside Yusuf too sighed.
Alan smiled heading down, joining them. Rauf instantly realizing turned to Haris, "Where's Lee-Min Ho and Liam?"
Amir and Haris alongside the other highschoolers instantly looked at each other silent.
"They'll be here in a while." Ibrahim replied.
Sensing a heavy atmosphere surrounding them Seraph and Kenzo glanced at each other.
Looking at the sky Haris walked ahead standing beside Rauf. Turning around he looked at all the boys together, "As you all know we won the
"Telling you all this doesn't mean I am scaring you or demoralizing you but, this is how the world truly is. It's harsh, it's cruel and it's painful, full of criticisms and literally the worst but at the same time. It's full of experiences, challenges, bonds, growth and success. Meeting all of you here today, be it all the middle schoolers whom I have met for the first time. Rauf, Kazuna and the others after a year or even Alan after four years. All I wanted to say is…" Haris smiled pivoting towards Rauf.
"My promise of the deal I have already kept it…" he lifted his right bandaged hand up, "Now it's time you all unite and fulfill the other half." Glancing at Alan who stood behind them Haris smiled, "Aren't I right?"
Alan nodded seriously. His eyes showing no jest nor lies. Xavier, Heber, Ezekiel, Adam, Poseidon, Helios, Feng, Ryan and Gabriel too looked at each other silent.
Rauf podering over his words traced Haris's injured hand, "What happened?"
Haris grinned teasing, "Boss Rauf, if you want me to brag about myself, I just scored the first 100 of the entire tournament."
"Seriously?" Senri asked stunned.
"Of course, his run rate is also the highest in the overall tournament." Amir concurred.
"So cool!" Aigou commented patting Haris's back, "Scoring a 100 in T-20's is literally no joke!"
"And in the final's I just sent 'Bolt' back to the pavilion injuring my hand." Haris sighed.
"Michaela Bolt?!" Orion and Ren repeated thunderstruck.
Rauf too blinked surprised.
"Taken aback aren't you? He was one hell of a trouble to deal with though." Haris confessed.
"But 'Michaela Bolt' is a legendary batsman amongst highschoolers around the glode… even I am surprised." Nagi pushed his glasses up.
"Don't be, don't be. Look, I even got a present for you." Amir tugging Cassiel's shoulder pointed at a large stack of books on the audience's seat. "Those journals contain every single information on every single player we played against in the overall tournament. Those are my greatest assets. Though, some players might not be taking part in the world cup. It will really turn out to be beneficial for you. What? Touched?" he added.
Nagi and Cassiel as if winning a jackpot grinned wickedly.
"Excluding your injury Haris, everyone is fine right?" Alan inquired.
Haris, narrowing his gaze anxiously reaminaed silent for a moment, immediately shaking his head. The boys glanced at each other confused.
"Why?" Kazuna asked. "We all did suffer minor injuries. Like Haris injuring his hand and Ali receiving going through rehabilation. However… the one who suffered the most is Liam." Cyrus informed.
"Liam?" Alan repeated alarmed.
"What happened to him?" Evan inquired.
Haris gulped, "He… lost his sight permanently."
Alan and the others including the middle schoolers as if struck by lightning remained silent.
"Ever since the quarter finals, he lost his sight out of the blue and hasn't recovered since then. We are trying to find methods to help him however no use." Israfil continued.
"He lost his vision...?" Alan echoed, utterly bewildered, as a wave of immense loss swept through the thunderstruck ground..
