Suddenly, Cassiel tapped on Seraph's collar to reveal a white powder covering it realizing the situation he called out, "Everyone! Take of your shirts now! They are covered with Benzodiazepines, an odorless, colorless consciousness controlling anesthetic..!"
However, whatever he meant to say he was too late. Darkness surrounding his eyes even Cassiel collapsed beside Adam who growled in pain.
"The… hell…!" Kenzo gritted grabbing his queen.
Helios taking a deep breath eyed Poseidon and Ezekiel who laid unconscious. Pulling the two of them up, he sat covering them under his shadow protecting them. Xavier tracing the approaching man suited men breathed hard, "They were… holding back on purpose… setting traps up for us in the meanwhile…"
"How shameless!!" Gabriel gritted his teeth on rage.
Azazel who was confused yet, still not affected by the anesthetic stood up before Kenzo glaring at the men who approached nearer.
"Azazel! Step back!" Kenzo ordered in a frenzy however, not listening to him Azazel stood before the thirteen of them with his arms open wide, staring at the men who halted before them enraged. "We told you… resistance is futile. You made us take the hard way." stated the same man who confronted Kenzo.
Kenzo gritting his teeth eyed him with a deathly glare. "You bastard!! Just who sent you here?!" he asked painfully.
The man looking down responded, "I am afraid that is none of your concern. A king of a different country isn't a king here."
Azazel hearing his comment yelped, "How dare you talk back to him!!?"The man sneered. Azazel giving into his Ghoul's personality held his ball aiming it at the man's face.
"Azazel don't!!" Kenzo called out however, no use. The man had already dodged Azazel's throw and smacked his neck ruthlessly, pinning him onto the ground. Kenzo witnessing the sight alongside Xavier, Gabriel and Helios stared with their eyes widened. Seeing Azazel fall on the ground, earth shattered below Kenzo's feet as he tried to get up but couldn't.
Helplessness driving in every single corner he screamed, "AZAZEL!!"
Soon Helios too passed out alongside Gabriel. Eyeing Azazel's sight the man raised his feet to crush his head as Kenzo stared in fury. "No… didn't I say, I would protect them? Then, why? How come is this happening…? Don't do it…!" his thoughts scattered.
Suddenly Xavier whispered his hairs turning silver, "Ring of limitation… Binding Limit break!" As soon as he uttered, a blazing round red ring binded the man before he could step over Azazel's hairs paralyzing him.
"Don't… you even dare…!" he warned grave. His eyes dull and shallow raged in fury.
Kenzo picking up the opportunity within that brief moment, dragged himself up to Azazel. Ruffling his hairs, he pulled him below his body sheltering him. Taking deep breaths he sighed, "Silly rascal… how dare you not heed this… king's command…?"
Smiling his last conscious breath he called out, "Xavier… that's enough…" And soon as he did, Xavier too losing his last bit of remaining strength fainted beside Ryan and Feng with the last ring too vanishing from the man leaving him vulnerable.
Kenzo grasping his queen tried to get up as the man commented, "King lives… as a king, until the very end. However, not this time, farewell." at that moment he directly struck Kenzo's back as soon as he stood up leaving him unconscious beside Azazel.
The man eyeing the fourteen to them sighed at each other. Suddenly a voice called out, "Is it done, Maximus?"
The voice hoarse yet, slightly familiar rang from his ear phone. "Yes, boss. However, we too faced a harsh loss. These kids… are monsters."
"Haha!! Haha!!" The man laughed. "I warned you, didn't I? Now proceed on, as you were told. Dispose all of them off!!" it ordered. The man staring at the boys before him nodded, "Yes!!" The boys under the fate of the scorching sun and surroundings unknown men laid unconscious.
"Beep… Beep… Beep…" came a sound continuously as Alan blinked his eyes waking up. "Hun… where is this?" he asked looking around to find darkness hovering all around. "Weird… wasn't I in the stadium before? Where is this? And, what's this sound?" he wondered getting up.
"Hello? Is anyone there? Old man, Brother, Kazuna, Isa?" Alan called walking ahead. Suddenly a voice called out, "Alan." Alan turning around found a young boy with grey hairs parted from between standing with a smile. "Kenzo? Is that you?" Alan asked back relieved.
"Yup, it's us!" called Adam happily from behind as Seraph gleamed.
"Seriously, how long are you going to sleep? I don't think we gave you that much hard of a time?" Heber teased as Azazel waved his hand.
Ryan and Feng looking at Xavier nodded. "Don't tell me a world ranker has just lost consciousness after playing against us. Such shame." Ryan taunted.
"Don't worry, it is okay to be tired but, hasn't it been too long? We are tired of waiting." Xavier continued.
"Get up, brat!!" Gabriel exclaimed as Cassiel smiled.
Poseidon and Ezekiel standing beside him patted his back. "Geez, didn't you say we'd go and face the world together. Don't tell me you are going back on your word now?" asked Poseidon slightly disappointed.
Alan shaking his head smiled, "Aren't you way to hasty? We have a long, long way to go until we rule the world." The boys hearing his words stood silent. Grasping their silence Alan stared at them worried, "What's wrong…?"
"A long, long way to go hun… after that long can we still go together?" asked Kenzo seriously.
"You didn't lie to us or did you?" Helios added disappointed. Sensing their suddenly change Alan gulped puzzled, "Boys, what's wrong…? Why are you saying something like that?" "I think it's because… neither of use trusts each other… too bad, I was looking forward onto reaching stars alongside you." Xavier smiled dismayed turning around.
"Alan, we're disappointed…" whispered Ryan and Adam together.
A sudden jolt taking over Alan he rushed towards the leaving boys, "Hey wait! I! I trust you! Wait! Just a minute!" "Then… wake up already…" whispered Ezekiel turning around and giving his hand.
As soon as Alan was about to grab his hand he suddenly woke up with a jolt "Boys!!" he called out in the middle of the room where his voice echoed.
Sweat dripping his forehead, he stared at the roof and then his hand which was covering with a bandage. "A dream…?" he whispered sitting up. A numb tingle escaping his body as he looked around to find himself in the checkup room. Grasping Rauf's sight on the sofa before him he whispered, "Rauf…"
Sitting with his leg a top of another and his arms crossed, he slept serene. His jersey covering his shoulders, the wind from the side window fluttered his golden hairs which shined as brightly as the sun the moment touched with a single ray of light.
"Brother Prince indeed…" Alan commented whispering, his eyes closed. "To think about it now… I regained my senses… it was really close though." he thought sighing deeply, "And, from the looks of all these injections openings looks like all my tests are already taken. God knows, what would've happened…"
Interrupting his thoughts suddenly Rauf asked, "You're awake?" Alan eyeing him stare at him with the same posture nodded after a short while. "Does it hurt anywhere?" Rauf asked back.
Alan blinked his eyes puzzled. "What in the world…?" he thought clueless over his behavior. "It doesn't…" he replied.
Rauf standing up looked outside the window, "You've been sleeping for four hours. Your reports, checkup and treatment is all completed while I must say one thing… you are completely healthy aren't you Alan?" he asked seriously yet ironic. Alan looked at him with eyes widened.
Rauf's eyes neither showing disdain, mock, anger nor rage instead what covered it was disappointment. Gulping lightly Alan stared at the bed sheet with his expression blackened. "Losing your senses yet still playing, on the verge of death yet still fighting, smiling until you are broken inside, do you think it feels heroic once you act this way?" asked Rauf, "Tell me… what do you expect me to say?"
Alan biting his lips stayed silent. "And forget about me, what do you expect others to say?" Rauf continued to ask.
Alan clutching his fists whispered, "I'm sorry…"
Rauf hearing his apology gritted. "And what should I do with it?!" he asked back cross, "I told you before as well Alan, I'll be harsher with you if you don't leave me a choice yet you did the same again. Leaving me not a single opening to pass through. So now… rather than hearing you, you'll do as I say and if not then whatever that happens in future. You would be held entirely responsible for it. I won't take responsibility. Even if it's your life."
