The highschoolers and middle schoolers along with Nidou and Seles stared at Alan and Ryan, whose clash had already arisen silently.
"Heh… so this little boy is the first one to take over Alan's momentum huh?" Senri smirked. Kazuna eyeing him gazed at the two of them stern.
"To think it would be one cocky brat after another. The list of chosen candidates this time is quite full of over confident rascals… hun?" Orion twitched his brow as Elias chuckled lightly.
"So it's the Rook this time hun… now that's interesting…" commented Isa as Zach stared silently.
"The rook hun, our honorable king of board… I wonder if it's alright to call him that cause, this one might turn out to be a king in disguise." whispered Ren mysteriously.
Aigou, Isa and Noah looked at each other in wonder. "Is that so…?" asked Noah confused.
"Of course, it is. Ever since he stepped onto the pitch I was wondering who he looked like and from where did that over confident demeanor of his came from nonetheless, who knew it would turn out to be from him." continued Ren.
"Who? Who? Whom are you talking about?" asked Orion and Aaron curiously.
Nagi taking a deep breath spoke, "Ryan Ty Alexandro, a 1st year middle schooler and an internationally famous cricket rookie. A skilled All-rounder who is an ambidextrous baller excelling in delivering all kinds of spins. And, from his batting side, a left hander who counters the exact opposite of what he delivers, in other words returner of fast balls. His balling style is known as 'Phoenix's Drive' a prominent style going all the way down in history."
"Phoenix's drive…? Why do I feel as if I've have heard of it somewhere before…" wondered Aaron alongside the others.
"Yeah… It feels a whole lot familiar to me as well…" Elias thought hard. Nagi sighed. "

Suddenly Zach remembering spoke up. "Musa Ty Alexandro…" he whispered quite stunned himself.
The others hearing the name, excluding Ren and Nagi stared at him wide eyed. "Musa Ty Alexandro…?" Noah uttered astounded.
"It can't be, right?!" asked Aigou in disbelief.
"Of course it is, the famous cricketer of the past who was once a part of Pakistani cricket team when they won the world cup last 19 years ago. That brat over there is the spawn of the Phoenix spinner Musa Ty Alexandro." explained Rauf. "Unbelievable…" Orion whispered awed.
"And not just that, the little one of his has also won juvenile Britain cricket award 3 times in a row as the man of the match twice for balling and once for batting earning him the title of the 'The Prince of Cricket' in the world of under 18 cricket tournaments. And since, Aitcheson academy also won the academy nationals this year, this boy is found to play a great role with his outstanding balling and batting skills on par with his captain and vice-captain. He was the one who sent Helios back to the pavilion with a grand bold in his fourth over." Nagi informed.
"Oh my god! Isn't it like out of the frying pan and into the fire?! Alan once again got an opponent exact opposite of his own personality." Noah uttered shocked.
"Seems like it hun… Alan must be very careful from now onwards." Evan cautioned as Haruf smiled nodding.
"Haha! I don't think he is going to do that. Just look at him enjoying to the very end. It's as if the day won't come to an end for him today." Isa pointed at an amused Alan taking over the pitch. Nidou gazed at Alan silent. The highschoolers too smiled back.
"So we have Alan standing right over the boundary line again right?" asked Seraph eyeing Kenzo who grinned. "Hm… driving him into a corner is the only way we can expose his tricks." Poseidon added as Helios stared.
"Hey, Cassiel. Ryan is going to be fine right?" asked Adam slightly worried. Azazel, Feng and Heber smiled as Cassiel patted his head, "Of course, he will be. Just watch and learn."
Seles looking at them sighed. "Yeah, Little boy just keep on looking how he rocks!" cheered Luka and Hadi together.
Xavier eyeing the two of them smiled, "So it has begun hun… the clash between the prince and sovereign of cricket…" "Best of luck, our little prince…" he whispered assertively.
Ryan twirling the ball rushed towards the pitch balling harshly towards Alan. Ren on the other hand stood up jumping inside the ground and seating himself on the nearby bench kept inside the boundary for coach's evaluation.
"Hey…? What are you doing Ren?" asked Orion puzzled. Ren glancing at him once again turned around closing his eyes heading over to the bench, "That boy is like an open book. Full of vulnerabilities."
"Listen to me Kazuna, Senri, Isa, Rauf and everyone. This first delivery is going to be a Top spinner." he claimed with a confident smirk, his eyes still closed. Rauf eyeing him stared at Ryan.
"To think the one whom I admired had a descendent like this… it makes me laugh…" Ren claimed disappointed seating himself.
At that moment Ryan with his expression widened threw the ball towards Alan who was distracted by the surroundings.
Alan hastily eyed the ball as it spun violently with the touch of ground going past his ear towards the off side and into the wicket keeper's hands. The whole scene went past by within the blink of an eye.
"That's it! Ryan's top spinner! A great start!" claimed Feng happily. "Way to go boy!" cheered Mikael as Theo nodded.
"Heh… he was angry. Since, Alan was distracted." Helios chuckled. "Yeah, a top spinner is his way of grasping others attention." explained Ezekiel. Xavier however stared at the pitch serene.
"My, my, be a little cool will you princely boy. That delivery just right now really surprised me." Alan cautioned blinking his eyes surprised, swinging his bat taking he took his position once again.
Ryan nevertheless, turned around to eye Ren who stared back at him mischievously. "It really was a top spinner…" whispered Aaron and Noah together.
"So you can read his deliveries with your eyes closed as well, emperor of spins?" asked Senri from above. Rauf eyeing Ren asked, "Is that so?" Ren turning around nodded, "His spins are like a gamble. And, my gambles are never wrong."
"Moreover, I was wondering what kind of an outstanding play he would show, but here we are not even stirring me an inch." he replied sarcastically looking at Ryan.
"Xavier my boy…are you thinking what I am thinking right now?" asked Kenzo seriously. Xavier instantly agreed. Seraph, Adam and Cassiel eyed each other perplexed.
"What are you both thinking about?" asked Azazel. "They are thinking about how Ren read Ryan's delivery before he even delivered it to Alan." Seles interrupted.
"He read the delivery?!" asked Ezekiel surprised. "You mean, he already knew that Ryan was going to deliver a top spinner?!" asked Mikael and Feng together.
"Indeed. He already knew and told it beforehand which surprised Ryan." explained Xavier.
"How can that be…? Isn't it utterly impossible to read people's mind!? How come he is even reading the delivery?!" asked Heber confused.
"It is… and, yet at the same time it isn't…, that is why Ren, who is ranked 9th in the world ranking list is called our base's emperor." claimed Seles.
"Base's Emperor Hun…" whispered Ryan smirking at Ren. "Hehe…" suddenly Alan chuckled. Hearing his voice Ryan turned around to grasp a look.
"To think you would be interested in someone else when your opponent is me also surprised me for a second." he told.
Ryan grinned back, "There's nothing to be surprised about I always tend to make many foes all at once…"
